Locked to vodafone
Thanks in advance0 -
If you are anywhere near Uxbridge, there is a market stall which will unlock it for you for £5, in a couple of minutes, and they sell sim cards very cheap, eg Orange for £3, etc. Shop around, and don't be conned, some want to charge £15.0

Hi does anyone know how to unlock this model of phone ? Im with vodafone at the mo but nearing the end of my contract and wish to change networks .
Thanks0 -
When your contract finishes, you may request the unlocked from vodafone directly free or charge by calling customer services. Vodafone call the unlock code a 'NUC' which stands for Network Unlocking Code.
If you are still within your contract period there is normally a charge of £20. The NUC is usually supplied straight away if they have it already on their system, or it can take up to 6 weeks if they need to request it from the manufacturer.
With the V630i, the cheapest way to unlock would be direct with Vodafone as the if you go a specialist phone unlocker you would be paying about £35.
Hope that helps.0 -
or about £10 if you get a vodacode (google it)0
