a local mobile phone repair or unlocking shop/market stall should be able to do this for you

I asked a few weeks ago if it was possible to unlock a SE W850i which is currently locked to the Orange network and was told that there is no free way to do it and a cable is required.

I was reading on a website that they can supply a code for £2.99 to unlock this type of phone - Is this a lot of rubbish???

i cant see how they can supply an unlock code for £3 unless they have access to the orange unlock codes database.

however, the_laser has released a free patch unlock for cid52 SE's but you need the setool3 box (which isnt worth it for 1 phone)
