How much car tax do you pay?

2004 Fiesta 1.4 TDCi, 116g/km of CO2, VED Band C, £30.

£225 for a year, on a car registered before 2001 when all the CO2 scales started

I've just bought a car which will be £30 a year, but I'm hoping the fuel will be more of an annual saving than that

I pid tax when I earned it, tax when I saved it and tax when I bought my car, also had 'showroom' tax, then insurance premium tax, fuel duty tax with VAT on top and a yearly b*ggering of VED.

Less than 2 tankful's of diesel. As mentioned in the overall running costs its very small.

If you want to cut the costs dont tax for 6 months. Do a full year and save a bit.

Dont care about road tax, I only pay 15-20p per litre for my fuel.

Both cars are around £230 a year.
