I called them again this morning. It's with a Case Manager and they can give me no timescale.

I have emailed my MP.

The no timescale thing seems to be their generic answer.

MP has written to Pension, Disability and Carer service apparantly they oversee the whole thing.

He agrees timescales are blumin ridiculous and to get the response that you get back from Crapita is less use than a chocolate teapot.

Make sure that you tell both the MP and the complaints team at crapita that! Yhe fact you're still waiting is an absolute disgrace.

I saw that, it's outrageous.

I did find myself wondering what would happen if my husband's claim was refused whether I could re-open his case after he dies? Just to shame them, really. I still haven't heard.

You can shame them now.
Chasing is not what you should be doing and I think your at 6 weeks now which in your situation is deeply offensive.

I have to give my MP time to agitate on my behalf. Then, I will shame them.

Received a letter today telling us that my husband has been awarded the enhanced rate plus the mobility component backdated to the date he applied (Oct 17). I thought it would be backdated to the date on the DS1500 - the date of his terminal diagnosis which was September 19. Am I right?
