its a new benefit and so anyone answering your question would just be guessing.
DLA takes up to 12 weeks to get a decision, so i dont suppose PIP will take any less time.
good luck anyway0 -
I've been waiting since 22nd May... So don't hold your breath fr a quick response unfortunately! Apparently nothingI can do to get it chased either... It's stuck being 'audited' by Atos, and so I just have to keep playing the waiting game!
I hope you don't have to go through the same!0 -

Yes I'm in the same situation - been 13 weeks since I had my medical assessment and ATOS haven't even sent the report to DWP yet ! ATOS say its stuck in a backlog for "quality auditing" and can't give a timescale of when it will be submitted to DWP.Its amazing how these banks can't even do simple calculations correctly..............0 -

On a forum used by welfare advisers, they are saying that no-one has yet had a client who has got a PIP decision (other than those claiming fast-track due to terminal illness)!0

Just thought i'd drop a message by to give you all an update...
I phoned DWP/PIP today for an update and was told it was with the Case Manager, but my medical report was not back from ATOS yet. I then called ATOS to see if they could shed any light, and was told it was sent back to the DWP via courier on the 27th September... So almost a week ago, but it can take 2 weeks to show on the system apparently, so i'll give them until next Friday then give 'em hell if I haven't heard anything ;-).
Hope everybody else hears soon... Hopefully sooner than it's taken me!
