Last spend today was £4.69 on piriton liquid for my son as his arm/hand is itching in the cast. That takes this weeks total to £69.80 but my monthly total is £225.88/£240. It's the first time I've been under budget, I'm so pleased :)

See you all on the November thread :)

Popped in lid* and obtained carrots, handwash, veggie sausages, quorn chicken and strawbs
Mr T bought more handwash, (before realised lidl had it cheaper), air freshener (can't remember what else; but total in both shops was £18.24.
Which I've added to sig, part Oct, five items used today and the rest Nov
Came out of B and M empty handed, unheard of for me.

DECLARING over budget yet again for Oct...sigh!

No shopping tomorrow as on a split shift.

I hope everyone did okay, ill try and read up by the weekend.

    See you all in November.

  • Well that's the end of the month for me. I kept borrowing from my food money purse, and it really hasn't helped me keep track of how much I've spent. I know it's around my £80 budget for the month, but I don't know if I was a couple of quid over or a couple of quid under. I think it's a couple of quid under, so I put some money into my leftovers money box.

I managed quite well, the freezer is once again full to bursting point and I really do need to be on mission use up for the next two months.

Will probably have to use some for butcher's in next couple of weeks and my DS is coming to visit on 19th, still don't know for how long, and he has hollow legs and eats for England :rotfl:Love him to bits though.

Hope you all have a happy Halloween and see you over the page

Hi all, last post for this thread reporting a spend of £28.39 which wasn't too shabby

We have 2.5 weeks left of this pay month and did have a little over £100 left to spend so I wanted to limit this to £30 to leave £30 for next week and £20 for the remaining part week. Am very aware this shop contained no meat as we bought loads at the beginning of the month, but I did pick up loads of reduced sliced bread and rolls, plus also milk, cheese, yoghurts, fruit, soups for work next week, tinned toms, baked beans, nappies, squash, sweets for the cinema on Saturday (which was silly seeing how many sweets the boys got for halloween!)....

Oh, and split peas, garlic and frozen spinach to add to store cupboard bits to make sag aloo and chana dal for the freezer for home made indian takeout nights, plus sweetcorn and noodles for when I boil up the frozen chook carcusses for soup

    Hi folks

Reporting an overspend (again!), £470-odd for October, not as bad as it's been, but could and should be less. Going to read back a bit and then pop over to next month, need to do better! :D

    A xo

I came in at £188.48. I did cater two parties this month, and made a 2 tier birthday cake and 30 cupcakes. I shouldn't make excuses though!
