I am up to £185.53!! We didn't go out at the weekend, which is positive cos we definately would have spent more money if we had! The result however was us sitting in eating chocolate, crisps and cheese and biscuits, eating into our grocery budget! However, the kitchen is currently well stocked, so still feeling optimistic to make my target for this month?!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
My savings: £4878.54/£7000
Joint account savings: £2685.57/£3000
Total:£7564.11/£10 000 (as at 26/10/14)0 -

Meant to post up a pic of last night's dinner earlier - salmon on a sweetcorn salad, with roasted sweet potatoes and a green salad. Delicious!Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

Had to do a top up shop today and spent £29.21, although some of this will last for more than this month so I suppose I could spread over a couple of months but as I spent it this month I will add it to October's total. Will update signature shortly.

Spends today: £2.98 in M&S, £1.99 in B&M, £3.34 in Mr A and £3.90 in Mr T. That comes to £12.21. That's just about it until the weekend. Have a good week everyone.0

For dinner we had HM TITH + roast potatoes + cabbage, carrots, onion + gravy.
Oh no I forgot to warn people! Don't buy the mushrooms in this weeks super 6. It's 69p for 250g, but if you go for the normal mushrooms, you get 350g for 79p.0 -
Salmon looks delicious Bluegreen
Another NSD to report that's 5 so far this month.
Have ordered around £100 worth of meat tomorrow so today spent the day cleaning and defrosting freezers. I am not adding this money to the GC but will pay myself back as and when its used with a little bit extra on top to build up for next order.
Made a huge saucepan of tomato soup again yesterday so we had this for tea with some bread and fresh fruit later on.
Tonight I made the Beef chilli bowls from the Hairy Dieters cookbook. - Delicious.MARCH £62.38/2500 -

Some spends today. Just under £10. I will add this properly to sig, once I've looked again at receipts.
Mostly YS breakfast muffins, YS fruit and fibre bagels, YS lighter choice garlic baguettes (2pk) in C*-*p.
£2.48 in local shop on fly spray and washing machine cleaner.
Three for £2.50 fruit juice (unexpected but DD2 drank the last this morning)... waiting for Tymbark to come on offer again in Mr T. AF has some but then i'd have to pay extra for p&p, so thought may aswell just pay the extra in Mr M. Also, two balls of mozzarella (one for DD's food tech and one for home)and cheapy kitchen towels.
So stuck to list except for the YS bread.
Hopefully that's it until th weekend; except for fizzy water which is essential for me, as just can't drink tap water.
Used up plums that weren't ripening, finally and the Green and blacks chocolate that was too bitter, along with some other scraps I found in cooking cupboard; and made a Plum and Chocolate tart. Had that to tonight after homemade lasagne which I made in the slow cooker last night. Girls had different tea and Betty Crocker marble cake ... this will make room for the Devil's food cake one on offer in Mr M. I only buy them when half price as most of the time these kind of recipes require umpteen ingredients, so workout less expensive when on offer.
