Afternoon everyone. Spent £3.26 in Wa**rose last night, a LOT of it was reduced. Normal cost would have been over £12 so really pleased with that. Also managed to get some organic stuff. Got Juice, some fruit & veg, hot x buns & my fave was two packs of organic raw king prawns...yum! Already becoming a 'regular' with my basket of reduced goodies.
Will have to spend out on milk and other bits and bobs tomorrow but am trying to avoid the shops today as I'll probably overspend out of tiredness etc.
On a funny note I was shocked to see people out at a pub last night then realised it was Friday...been so long since I went out on a weekend!!
Have a fab Saturday.Married in 2016. Bought our first home in 2017. Expecting our first baby in November 2017

Hello everyone.
Just catching up and realised I've not yet confirmed budget for this month. Could you please put me down for £250 as that's more realistic for the time being, thank you.
I've checked receipts for Sept which during which we tried ad hoc shopping it still went over the £200 target and I have been annoyed at running out of stuff so back to normal this month.
Will sort out receipts later so can post total so far.
Hope everyone is OK.

I am going to add my impending spend at Mr T and what i spent yesterday at MrM to my sig and if any different i will alter accordingly.
I spent £9.17 in Mr M, but forgot to peel the 50p off coupon off one item to use there and then ...the rest was tissues, Quorn sandwich meat, chocolate and Ys cream ( which i must decant and freeze) and YS tofu. I don't even know if i will like it but thought i would try.
I estimate my spends at Mr T to come to £64.44
So £73.61.
Really need to try hard to use up what's in now and ONLY buy essentials. Please someone slap me if i mention another big spend!

Never had it but cant imagine it being nice at all, neither do any of us like quorn even though tried it three times.
Spends today in the butchers and also Morri$ons so now up to £30.38.
Our meal tonight was the veg left over from last week - a rather sad looking carrot, one leek, 5 rather wrinkled mushrooms, small piece of onion and a couple of broccoli florets. This was all cooked off then put into a dish with some cheese sauce and covered with some left over grated cheese and breadcrumbs. We had it with some tomatoes and a chunk of crusty bread. Was'nt the best meal we ever had but we ate it and it used all the bits that were on their way to the bin.
