    Good morning,

Only spent £5.17/£65 to date. It's felt rewarding to use up previous efforts of food acquisitions and existing ingredients/homemade recipes (30 so far). Also, when I have been tempted to purchase something, I've opted for using up something similar from the freezer to make the item similar to it. Consequently, saving time in food preparation has been inconsistent as also some of my freezer items needed "improving". Intend to purchase only "healthy" food choices.

    Hi all,

First proper grocery spend of the month for me.

Went to the new Ald! its just around the corner from us, which is great.

Anyhoo - spent £31.76 and that included 2 bottles of wine, and some treats for the kids, so I am a very happy bunny - it would have been under £20 for basic food only, but we,ve not had a treat for ages, so movie night planned tonight - in pj,s - pizza, cheesecake, sweeties, wine for us, carbonated hyperjuice for kids (cola) and one or two films not a bad night out/in for £3 a head :)

Off to get another load in WM - bedding day today, want to get it on the line before it rains :)
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    £300/£130

I'm staying away from the shops today to avoid temptation.

It was me and yep we're the same *hangs head in shame* 2l a day but that's between 3 of us and none of us drink hot drinks. The rest of our drinks are good old tap water though. Asda is about 4 miles away for us but lidl is about 1/2 a mile and usually they have Pepsi on offer most weeks. This week it's 99p for 2L hth x

  • Spent £5.90 on bits and bobs recently.

Now planning a shopping list to try and come within budget - only 24hrs to go :D Unfortunately, hubby is coming along and he is hungry, so worried what will end up in trolly when I turn my back :(
