£2.70 spent last night on some bacon to make Hunter's Chicken. Will be a treat for breakfasts at the weekend as well.

Today I have ordered a case of GF bread flour as my local big Mr S and Mr T do not stock it. I also ordered some GF cereal and a big box of broken GF ginger biscuits to use as crumble, cheesecake base and nibbling on;), some half price pasta, white bread flour and other GF bits to get free delivery. This came to just over £30.

It costs me £2.20 to buy 4 GF bread rolls and they aren't that nice so I am wanting to learn to make great GF artisan style bread hence the delivery. I am not sure how to allocate the cost though as if I add it in this month I will be way over but I know that all of the cereal and most of the flour will be used over the next couple of months, not this month. Will have a think.....

Top up shop planned for Mr T this afternoon. I have used their website to price it up and look for the best deals. We are out of cheese, dog food and yogurts so will get enough today to last until the end of the month (21st) to take advantage of offers.

I am going to start making Christmas cakes this weekend as I stuggled to get them all done in time last year and I like to feed them quite a bit:beer: I make 4 a year as gifts. Most of the ingredients are value and they still work out about £8 each:eek: That is excluding icing and marzipan or decorations.

Home made American Hot pizzas for tea tonight :)
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

Maybe split your spends for the GF items between this month and next month. Or add each individual item as you open and use it?

I am going to add my impending spend at Mr T and what i spent yesterday at MrM to my sig and if any different i will alter accordingly.
I spent £9.17 in Mr M, but forgot to peel the 50p off coupon off one item to use there and then ...the rest was tissues, Quorn sandwich meat, chocolate and Ys cream ( which i must decant and freeze) and YS tofu. I don't even know if i will like it but thought i would try.
I estimate my spends at Mr T to come to £64.44

    So £73.61.

Really need to try hard to use up what's in now and ONLY buy essentials. Please someone slap me if i mention another big spend!

I'm finding it harder to keep track of spends these days. I use a few different cash back sites/apps, so it's not as easy as going through my bank statements anymore! This month I've started stuffing receipts in an envelope with a note on the back detailing any cashback or things I am not counting in the grocery challenge, such as birthday or Christmas gifts. Hopefully this will work out better for us!

I have had 2 NSDs this week, and have a full freezer. So full that Hubbs and I emptied each drawer yesterday and repacked to better organise and save space. It seems we've been getting more YS bargains than we've been eating! We have 4 meals worth of meatballs (there are two of us), 10 of mince, 6 chicken, 1 gammon, 2 pork steaks, 4 fish and maybe 20 of sausages. That's almost 2 months' worth of meat, plus what I have in the fridge, and the cupboards..

Ended up being £2 less, and got 462g of treat size chocolate instead of 288as a substitution.

    Will update

So I just popped to the shops this afternoon, and casually spent £13.75. I did save £6 on what I bought but eek, I hadn't meant to spend that much! I did spot muller light yogurts on bogof in T3sco though so got those as we get through so many. And have bought husband's ale for the month.
Also spent £2.50 on the tea club at work!

Husband also had to pop out for natural yogurt that I forgot! Extra £1 spent in co-op!
