Surely this needs a rethink! i don't mean to be rude as it's up to you what you do, but since you are (i presume, perhaps wrongly) in the more financially needy position, wouldn't it be only fair for you to accept the money?
I know this is probably gonna sound weird but, I do not value money or possessions, at all. Hubby and I have been married over 20 years and we have no debts and live a very simple lifestyle.
The reason I joined this MSE challenge is because my Daughter is in year 2 of Uni and has been offered an internship in the USA. She needs financial help paying for her flight out there in July so, for the sake of our Daughter, we have decided to gather some savings and help her, we have no interest in money whatsoever yet, we are not poor, we have all we need.Living in a Caravan Since 09/08/2013 :T

I've had one of those weeks never mind days
I've had a spend today in MrM but I will add to sig tomorrow once I've rechecked receipt and MrT delivery has come. I've bought a few Christmas bits to put aside, and Halloween; these will come out of the grocery budget, as I only have seperate for presents not actual food. Got to also add BOGO1/2P on hairdye at Super *drug. Took advantage of free delivery, as can not hold out until 10th when I'm next near a H&B.
Had Lentil and Butterbean casserole with rice for tea. If you haven't tried making this from the Recipe collection, I urge you to do so !GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Thing is, I am a Diabetic so, usually, the urges have to be ignored
I am holding off the hair colouring just yet, turned 40 and the greys are appearing. I am Married to a hairdresser though so, no need to worry about the cost.
Thanks for the tip about the casserole, I will look for that xLiving in a Caravan Since 09/08/2013 :T
