Morning all,
Birthday wishes to all flyladys celebrating today:beer:
Hugs to all who are having a difficult time at the moment.
Anniversary wishes to Mr and Mrs Cyclingyorkie:beer:
Have continued to keep up with the thread all week, adding in little extras along the way.
Garden all put to bed yesterday, its amazing how big it looks with no garden furniture etc.
Going out this afternoon to spend a bit of money;) now the house is looking better I feel I need to put a bit of colour into it, new cushions and rug for the lounge, and I think I will buy nice, bright bathroom accessories:D
See you soon x0 -
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I just went to shower and cleaned the bathroom while I was in there... I pulled a hairball out of the plug hole the size of a HOUSECAT! I wish I was actually exaggerating!
I hate cleaning the plughole and will make a note to my future self to clean it out more often, hence it would be less traumatising...Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Good morning
I have been lurking this week, but busy with the paid stuff. DH has been working very hard, and has even managed to cross some things off my Toots list (unknowingly!) He has sorted out the broom cupboard & the bottom 'junk' drawer in the kitchen :T
Happy birthday to Valli, Juliejim & Rosyq and Happy Anniversary to Mr & Mrs CY
I have been mainly working from the laptop - r getting car insurance quotes ( I HATE doing this!!) and researching dishwashers. Ours has stopped working againit is making funny noises and doesn't even stop when you open the door! It is 11 years old, so it may be cheaper to get a new one than to get it fixed
The man that fixed it last time has since retired, so I don't have anyone tried & tested to go to either.
It is a good job my work has picked up, as what with car tax running out & car needing a service (was due in May, but had no money), we now have a slow puncture, so may need a new tyre as well. Why does it all come at once?!
I am working from 12.15 to 6.00. I have a parent coming round this afternoon to renew contracts for her 3 children as well, so I need to get my btm in gear & get sorted.
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them0 -

Haven't used the company myself but they get good online reviews. Bamboo and cotton mixes are lovely, very soft.0 -

Also removed a load of foundation from bathroom sink, cleaned shower cubicle, wiped and polished all bathroom cupboard doors and mirrors.
Loaded a load of gibble into log cabin that cannot be thrown, car loaded with stuff for dump tomorrow. (Now I have pulled it all out I want it gone, never mind dustmen come Friday, I wanted it out of sight.)
Found some missing exam certificates for both DD1 and DD2.
Today I have taken gibble down dump, decluttered DS at nursery, been to Mr T spent a small fortune on cleaning bits and bobs, put air in tyres (got a slow puncture for a few weeks driving me mad now :mad::mad:) re-fed the car to the top.
Made some phone calls, DD3 now home as back at school at 6pm for open evening for the primary children visit. About to get DS again, and all my great plans for today's flying totally scuppered.
Here's hoping the young skints will have a napThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Not doing too bad at keeping up the flying. Henried upstairs and bedrooms earlier in the week. Bedrooms checked daily and not allowed to get hotspots. Cats, clothes and cups brought down. Dusted DS bedroom need to dust DD's and ours. Bathroom and toilet kept up with. WM and DW loaded and unloaded.
Grass cut, need to weed but am not going to do it all at once as little and often at this time of year seems to work better for me, otherwise I do it all in one go and leave it for weeks.
Need to pick some daffodil bulbs up next time I go to town. Wilkos used to sell a large bag of them for a fiver, wonder if they still do?
Birthday and Anniversary wishes to all who are celebrating.
Hugs, spoons and chocolate, take your pick.
Hugs to Poppy and family.

Happy Birthday Valli
Happy Birthday Rosyq
Happy Birthday to JulieJim if she's lurking.
Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs CY.
5th Load of washing in the machine. Lots out on the wirly gig in the garden. It's a beautiful day here.
Downstairs and up the stairs and 1st Landing have been hoovered.
MIL has been up for a chat. This is massive progress for her.
Really fed up with lack of help round the house from DS1. It's my day off today and I've been flying since 7.15am.
The bird feeders have been given a really good clean and a soak in some Milton. I wash them every few days but decided to give them a deep clean today.
I'm trying to update my phone to the new 7.0 software but the wi-fi keeps cutting out. It's rather trying my patience.
I'll update my lists later.0 -
