Happy anniversary Dusty
Mrs MP I feel your pain! I'm sure we've all forgotten something important. It makes you feel so bad, you have my sympathy for your predicament.0 -
Congratulations on your anniversary, Mr and Mrs CY!
Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs Dusty
:bdaycake:
Happy Birthday to you too, Juliejim!
Today the carpenter has fitted the new door to the airing cupboard, the handles to the sliding door of the ensuite and the pelmet above the sliding door.
The electrician has put up lights in the DR, LR, half-landing, utility, back porch, back garden and near the front door, as well as connecting the room thermostat to the boiler and fitting the sockets in the DR.
DH has emulsioned the back porch and chatted to his sister on the phone.
In no particular order, among other things I have:
- planted up 2 tubs of bulbs and autumn colour: one for us and one for DS2 and his wife
- done WMx3 and hung out to (almost) dry
- cleared up carpenter's shavings and sawdust on the landing while I was stuck upstairs ('cos the electrician was fitting the pendant on the half-landing)
- bought more white emulsion paint for ceilings, still on offer :money:
- taken rubbish to the tip
- taken saleable bits to CS
- bought fruit and veg
- cooked lunch
- decided that we will eat up the leftover lasagne from yesterday for tea tonight
- booked a back massage and mini-facial at the hotel we're visiting this weekend - special offer of 40% off made them very reasonably priced :money: but the special rate is because our group is taking over the whole hotelThere will be model railways everywhere  and DH will be in his element
but fortunately there will also be a programme designed for OHs who don't find narrow-gauge quite as enthralling
I shall probably end up going to Calke Abbey on Saturday afternoon, though I must avoid the tearoom and delicious cakes or bossy will be cancelling my star!
Have a good evening, all - I'm off to the choral society with a friend.0 -
:hello:
Well my patient survived... ok, it was a high tech plastic doll, but its always nice when they survive
DS was then collected from school and dog collected from home then off to school for parents evening, while DS walked the dog...
Now DS has been decluttered to Karate and Dog is sleeping in the middle of the living room floor. I think I might just have time to run round with the hoover before I have to collect him...
15 mins starting now....Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

We are all hair decluttered, bathed and ready for bed (well, not me

Pigpen, hope DD isn't in too much trouble. It's good to stand up to the nasty scr0tes sometimes
Mrs MP, glad she's not too mad with you - lucky escape.
Clothes are out for morning, except we appear to have run out of school trousers - I know some are washed so I'll iron them damp and leave in airing cupboard tonight.

HHC done.

Happy birthday to all the birthday peeps & happy anniversary to all the anniversary peeps. x0 -
Happy Anniversary to Dusty.
Mrs MP - Such a horrid feeling when you've forgotten something you've promised to do. It did bring a smile, though, when you said she'd forgotten. What a relief!
I've given up for today. I've got another course of antibiotics but I can't start them till tomorrow. Once they kick in I shall be raring to go again.0
