I hope you got back to sleep missymoo.
Sleep is eluding me. No phone calls so that's good news.
What to do now? Lunches are made and all ironing was done yesterday???0 -
Wowsers Bonnie glad no one is hurt.
Hugs mumto5 and deco.
Had some sleep although had a late phone call too. Inlaws neighbours - the alarm must have been tripped, but just flashing now. Explained can't sort till today and they said not to worry. It was 10.30 last night
So today need to get DS to school, let plasterer in, do grocery shop, join virtual coffee morning (need baked goods), hotfoot across town for alarm and then start flying! Its quite a drive to inlaws so hopefully DD will nap in the car...
Its Friday!

Morning all
Boys away to school, end of week was showing on both of them.
I'm going to strip my bed and get the washing on then do the LR which I never got to yesterday.
Going to a friend's for the MacMillan Coffee Morning she is hosting and then to the GP (I so hate that) followed by getting something for dinner tonight.
Hoping to get some gardening done later.
Have a good day all.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good morning all, day off today, then down the van to empty and clean ready for it to come off site next week (I'm not down then) so going to get as much done here as I can.
Haven't caught up on thread so hope all are well and hugs and spoons to those in need xx

Ok, have already done my online shop, made a Victoria sponge and some little cakes and washed up.
Need to deliver the cake and hope that both babies fall askeep so I can actually get stuff done! How did baby sleep last night Roxy?0 -
Good morning
I have baby J today, so we are off to Mum's and hopefully get her out of the house to a MacMillan Coffee morning. I am going to my friend's one - she is the lady in the MacMillan advert! It is not around the kitchen table - but in marquees in the garden! She raises lots every year - which is why they picked her family for the advert. They are real people!!
I will catch up later0 -
That sounds great, GI!
Drumroll: DS went to school with no tears! :T had to bribe him with a fruit pastille but wow, and he was even asking to go to school club!
Even DD noticed - she said "Alex is alright now mummy!" bless her. I said maybe we should get him a well done present and she said "I think he likes a fruit pastille" :rotfl:
Just waiting for workmen to arrive then will go shopping!Bossymoo

I have polished my boots with leather cleaner for the sofa. They sucked in the cream loads so clearly needed a good feed! I do love them, they are petrol fly London mina boots and make me happy whenever I see them. I get lots of compliments on them too
.
Off out shortly to rod drains. Then need to drop some charity clothing somewhere which accepts it and then off to get the car washed. I'm going to pay for it to be done as they charge £10 for inside and out and do a very good job.
Well jealous, a friend from school has stuck photos up on faceache last night of his new car. A 2008 Bentley! He must work really hard as it's a vast amount of money. He owns his own business and got robbed last year from his home. He ran a Facebook campaign to find the thief and did, so well done to him!
Hope all are well.
Another job I have for later is to figure out how to set a password for the TV and would like to see if I can set a password for the wifi. I know some people change theirs daily and I think it's a marvellous idea. Our house is ghastly and I think it will be helped along if I block Internet and TV from everyone until it's at standard.
Eta: just had a message from friend, she's got a Macmillan cake morning she'd forgotten about so can't do this morning. That means I can do other stuff now. Where shall I start? Hmm, off to check listy.
