Evening everyone. Hope you're all ok. I haven't done all the lists so far but the house looks pretty tidy and clean. Just sitting down before relaxing in front of the telly with banoffee pie (new experience for me) and then tomorrow off on hols. Can't wait. But I'll have to get up early to do the packing. Cases have been out all week and today I got the washing and ironing up to date but nothing has actually been put in a case!

Never mind, catch up with you all soon.

Phone calls thick and fast tonight. My uncle is very poorly, my brother has driven Mum up to N0rthampt0n. It's going to be a long night.

Dinner cooked. Pilates attended. My abdominal a will be hurting in the morning.

Hour of ironing done. Now to put it away.

Happy Birthday to Valli, Juliejim and rosy

Happy Anniversary CY and Dusty

Lots of celebrating today - we had a party in class this afternoon as one of my TAs is 50 today. She cried as she was so overwhelmed :o I think that was a good thing though!

Not sure when I'll manage to post next - tomorrow evening I'm going to London to see The Committments musical, Saturday evening is said TAs party, Sunday I'm off to Brighton to see Terry Prachett and Monday evening is Bill Bailey! Not sure what it is about this weekend but there are at least 3 other gigs on that I'd like to be at!!

    Hugs for all xx

  • Hi all

Thanks for the hugs, they're much appreciated.

    dusty & CY happy anniversary
Valli, Rosq & juliejim happy birthday

    Bins out
    Cat litter tray bleached
Trip to Ald!, shopping unpacked & stuff put away
Went to see nan at home, & grandad at hospital, he's looking better than he did at the weekend. But i can't help but think there's something more sinister that we don't know about.

Jo I clear the plug hole fairly regularly but sometimes I do touch my head to check there is no bald patches as there is so much hair in the plug hole

Looking forward to the coffee morning tomorrow, will try and log on from the paid stuff. If not will be home after 1 so I can raise a cup to Toots.

    Deco x

Very late this week... stuff at home to deal with...

Hello, welcome, congrats, hugs etc as required - I've not yet caught up with fred, sorry

Tonight my oven exploded. I had the oven on to warm up for 9 mins when I heard a big crash. Shards of glass everywhere and grill pan (above oven, and not on) on fire. Thank *insert deity of your choice* no-one was in the kitchen. Anyway the jacket spuds in the microwave were still edible, if not as crispy as I was hoping...

The good news is DD had a very positive parents eve. I will catch up soon xx

Bonnie that must have been a real shock

Mumto5 hope your uncle is ok

    Froddy enjoy your busy weekend

Piggers noticed whilst out shopping that owls are adorning everything this autumn, made me think of your DD

Shattered after another busy day, DS3 exhausted when I put him to bed. Just waiting for DS2 to get home from work, I usually pick him up but as I couldn't drop him off he cycled down.

I just got the washing in off the line, not quite dry so on the maiden.

Bonnie, wow, scary . Dusty, happy anniversary. Deco, hugs.
Bossy, hope the tinies have been rubbing along better today?
DD had been home for 45 minutes with DS before he suddenly interrupted her mid sentence by covering his ears and shutting his eyes and saying "make it stop!". I laughed, thankfully she did too :p.
One of the cubs left her coat this evening so I dropped it back on my way home. Glad I did as Mum is on her own and has blocked drains. So now I'm going round there at 10am with my drain rods to help her clear it. Good deed for the day :).
DS starts orchestra in the morning. He's very excited now he's realised that he won't miss his trumpet lesson :).

Morning, up feeding the baby, again, 4th time tonight!!! And showing no signs at all of settling down to sleep! Am exhausted! Anyway enough whinging. Happy belated anniversaries and birthdays, and hugs to those that needed them yesterday.

Well yesterday I did not get a minute to do very much yesterday as was at work all day, although I did manage to wash up, wipe work tops, tidy toys, load the DW and finally finally put the buggy on fleabay! It only took me an hour and a half to list 3 things!!

But I'm hoping to atleast do a little better today/tomorrow, when I can haul myself out of bed. I'm making a cake for Macmillan coffee mornin, first thing, then I'll drop it off, tidy up the mess I've made and go off to fitness class in the afternoon. Today I would really like to: clean bathroom, Hoover through, DW on and unloaded, WM done and clothes hung up bath babies at a reasonable time and be in bed for 7!

Right I'm going to try manoeuvre baby into cot, wish me luck.
