Hugs to bossymoo and anyone else that needs them.
This is an inspiring thread and not just with the flying
I haven't done much off the list today but i have started decorating my bedroom which is on my Toots list so I'm not too bothered.
I've bought paint and done the ceiling (it only needed one coat) and the first coat on the feature wall (get me with the jargon!).
That wall will be bright yellow, then I'll tone the paint down with white for the other 3.
I'm using up some annual leave so I've got 3 days off
Tomorrow OH is taking me for a surprise day out for my birthday, then i'll carry on with the painting.
Oh, and I finished making my handbag so it can have its first outing tomorrow
And I've done the usual washing, cooking etc etc etc.
Had a bit of an 'incident' this morning - those who are squeamish look away now -
Put slippers on to take the bins out. Something in the end of one. Hoiked out a small, round, brown thing - with my bare fingers - wondered what it was - the head of a small, furry animal :eek:
Clearly one of the cats had put it there for safekeeping
I will never trust those slippers again :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Cream crackered again. Read to DS3 and helped DS2 with his personal statement again. This must be at least draft 10 (that is no exaggeration).
Going to put DW on then head to bed. I'll do the list first thing as it is easier on the pcThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hi all
Limited (well virtually non-existent) flying for me tonight. Had my sewing class after the paid stuff.
DW on & emptied
Shopping bag emptied of gibble and said gibble sorted
bossy & dusty hugs to you both
CY glad DH is home from hospital, hope his recovery is not painful for either of you.
My friend has been told she has weeks and my grandad is in hospital (he's just been diagnosed with dementia, not the reason he's in hospital though). Need to see my nan before I go to the hospital after the paid stuff and then if I have time go to Ald! with the mirror voucher. So flying will be limited tomorrow as well.
Have friday afternoon off (have been working 6 day weeks) plus the weekend I need to recharge.
As Kaz says I need to keep on keeping on.

Hugs to you as you say time helps loads, how is DS now with the actual going in to big school? My daughter started on the 4th and i was very fortunate that she just got on with it without being upset she's 5 tomorrow
Thank you x he's been at breakfast club and has a friend there now, so been fine the last 2 mornings - phew
Great that your DD has taken to it so well :T my DD will be at school nursery in January so they will be in next rooms to each other and share playground.

Ugh Rosyq the slippers would be gone, possibly the cats too, I cant imagine the noise that would come out of me.
Never made it to see the high school today, didn't have enough time having waited in for Tiny's dad, feeding baby and eating. Haven't quite got the hang of multi tasking yet. It was the lowest on my list of choices anyway so may not even put it down as a school. I wish all schools were the same and you just go to the nearest.
Flying from the list stopped as a result of the above and I fell asleep watching a dvd but have had a decent tidy up (not including the living room with the mountain of ironing)0 -
No flying achieved other than cleaning the sink this morning (hangs head in shame)
Tomorrow I will devote my day to getting this place clean how I really like it. Wedding a week today.
Well done Bossy for not dwelling on the bad timing phone call. I hope your 2 behave like angels towards each other and give you an easier day tomorrow.
CY - I'm very pleased to hear Mr CY is home. Don't envy you for the next 6 weeks tho!
I'm impressed by your baking Valli. A very late in the day happy birthday to your absent DS. I'm really enjoying GBBO and it's inspiring me to bake tomorrow if I get this place shipshape.
BF mummies. Good balanced nutrition for you and plenty of fluids and rest. I know how difficult the rest is when you're running around after your other kids but 10 minutes here and there really helps.
I've said enough. Bedtime. DH is home from Leeds and has left his curry mess all over the kitchen. I am not cleaning it up.0 -
