    Hi
Sent the beasties to bed for fighting  feel a bit stressed today. Told them not to ask for any treats until they can get through a day without pushing each other.

MIL and FIL are having a bad day too. 2 yrs ago today since we got the phonecall of terror and I rang them so they could fly home. Then the broker calls me this aft to see if our life assurance is still meeting our needs.

I can just feel the anxiety rising, so I'm not attempting to get anything done tonight, as I'm just not thinking straight. DD thinks the roofer might be her daddy and asking if he can come and see her fairy palace.

So you see, its all gone a bit "Pete Tong" today. We'll wipe the slate clean and start again tomorrow.

The best part of my day was pound shop visit after work...

  • Going back to breast feeding issue. My GP was very sympathetic for his "species" :rotfl: when DS was only 2 months old my milk started drying up through stress. He prescribed Metaclompramide a travel sickness pill where the side effect is Lactation :) luckily that worked for me in the short term, and with the teas I was able to bf DS til he was 2 and half (thankfully I quite like the taste so it keeps my hydration level up if nothing else - and biscuits dunked in it taste foul  so probably better than regular tea which is too wet without one
The cold never bothered me anyway

I had it with DS3 too and it had no effect whatsoever. However I didn't need it he was feeding plenty but was lactose intolerant and had awful reflux. It is an antisickness pill not just for travel sickness.

I like the tea too but hated smelling like a mouse.

Dusty and Bossy, it sounds as though you're both having an upsetting time. (((Hugs)))

PoohBear I'm sorry, but with that list of veg I'd be stumped.

If anyone wants a Morrison's Voucher for Week 2, I've got one going spare.

Challenge-wise, I've managed to use bits of all three openings of the novel and have come up with something that works as a first draft. Good. That means I can move on a bit. It was really difficult to make myself actually stick to the job in hand, but knowing it's now a Flylady Challenge task meant I made myself actually do it.
    Better is good enough.

bossy have a HUGE hug from me and  at everything else. Days like these are never easy and calls which highlight the issue are even worse.

I presume the broker knows the significance of the time of year for you, if they do then they should not be calling now out of sensitivity, if they don't know and they knew you over 2 years ago (so know your personal circumstances) then they should not be your broker.

Those that know me know not to discuss life ins with me and if anyone starts on about the importance I get up and walk out of the room!!
