Bathroom fit hell here.
Not enough tiles and they have been discontinued. Missing border tiles from the main delivery still haven't turned up. Customer centre dealing with me are not ringing back and all I get are answer phones.
Small leak my have affected the central heating control.
DS2 has been taken out due to insect day here. They are begging to come home to the no toilet house. I will swap with OH and take him out to B& another letter store.
Sorry still haven't caught up with thread or tasks. x

Lamewolf - I totally agree. The trouble is, he goes to my mums when I am on placement and she spoils him something rotten... He has unfortunately learned that if he doesn't eat, something more tasty shall appear. He has also learned that my brother will often leave leftovers in copious amounts of takeaway cartons in his room (He empties the room on a daily basis but the dog has learned there is food in there at some point every day...) it takes him about 24 hours back here to realise that neither option is available here. My house is referred to now amongst the family as Boot Camp.
I am proud.
So I have been faffing... there is no other way to explain it really...
- Undersink cupboard which was sorted, as had to be rejiggled to fit in a larger bottle of fabric conditioner.
- WM has been emptied and refilled however am tempted to wait until DS comes home from school before switching it on, I have no doubt he will have something to contribute...
- some more detritus gathered for the bin
- bowl of cereal decluttered
- have decluttered Uni emails and deleted 500 junk ones from h-mail
- need to start figuring out printer now...
ETA!! Oh and I booked my car in for its MOT!! Which I have consistently forgotten about for two weeks!
Piggers... I have no advice to offer, but I feel your pain... the do you/don't you wake them fiasco... And I know you don't do hugs... so have :coffee:Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Garlic and lemon .. with new potatoes and salad?
Wrap in cheese and bacon and serve with whatever you fancy?
bbq marinade and chips?
I had a gammon to put in SC and just remembered.. best get it in the oven now.
My poorly girl has been crashed on the sofa for 3 hours!!! Do I wake her or leave her?
Garlic and Lemon it is, thankyou! If I'm smart, I can bang them in the oven before I pick up DS2, they'll be done by the time we get back. I might make a risotto to go with and strip the meat off the bone to mix through. I always put carrots and peas in any risotto, that way DH will eat some veg -- he is worse than all the kids combined.
If your poorly girl really isn't well at all, I would be very tempted to let her sleep. My three gave up naps at 18 months so if they fell asleep in the day, I knew they weren't well. Maybe try making some noise around her to see if she stirs?0 -
Dancemum - oh no! Hope you find some tiles somewhere.
Pigpen- let poorly one sleep, bless
I think the jam has set so I've jarred it up. Looks ok but we shall see. Going to do some cherry tomorrow and I won't be doubling the recipe this time

Finances updated & examined. Still can't work out where £100 a month is going. I have to be going over my grocery budget
Will have to knock the take-aways off unless the money is left in the grocery budget.
Text to DD written, which I'll send when she texts to say she's on her way home. I need to find a cheaper alternative to crisps as its costing a small fortune in packed lunch stuff as I tend to snack on it
Dishes washed, laundry on maiden. I'm off to make some bolognese for tea. I wonder how many portions I can make if I manage to get it portioned up before DD gets her mitts and hollow legs on it. I think I might make pasta to go with..make it stretch a little further
Best shift myself. I'm going to run Henry around downstairs while I'm at it. The rug looks like it hasn't seen a vacuum in a monthCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
lamewolf I would just in case and doubles up as id.
Disclaimer: I know nothing about small children. Piggers I'd let poorly lass sleep on - it's supposed to be a healer, so hopefully will do her good.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hi all
Poohbear could the dogs have sneakily eaten something unpleasant whilst out for walkies? I have to hover behind Bailey with a poo-bag, because Cassie, dirty little mare, is a poo-eater._pale_ Hope their tums are better soon.:o
WM has been on, and I've hand-washed my red dress. Also, I've got vinegar in the loo again as the limescale is making a bid to return (the joys of hard water).
I have to renew my driving license today, too, as the photo is 10 years old. I was dithering over whether to bother, or just turn the license in, as I never seem to get chance to drive these days, but Mr LW said to renew it.
Possibly sheep poo? Yuk! I am in and out like a yoyo with them.Garlic and lemon .. with new potatoes and salad?

I would leave her. She must need the sleep, just check she isn't hot.
And can I ask for help. please? DSIL is here for dinner tonight. I have popped in to see her and asked what she can eat. So far , no citrus, no tomatoes or peppers, no meat. She has given me a marrow and swede. I have some beans and chick peas, kale, lettuce, cheese, potatoes. I had planned on sweet and sour slow cooked veg, rice, and then chicken and cashew nuts and stir fried vegetables for the others. Plum crumble made and now making chocolate cake too as she can't eat plums... help!! I am swamped by vegetables she can't eat.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I have a passport which acts as ID, but I've renewed the driving license online; what I need to do is get in some driving practise, because should there be an emergency and I have to drive, I'll be too terrified. Trouble is, the "default position" is for Mr LW to drive.:o And of course, I avoid going places I can send him on his own, such as the Farmers Market.:o

I need to drive more too. I can get to DD's, over the fell and if pushed to the village. But I panic when another vehicle comes towards me. Luckily I rarely see any.........business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Right then. Training finished 2.5 hours early so I'm home, have had a coffee and had better get on and do
HHI starting at 15:30?
Also noticed this morning that the tiles on my bathroom windowsill are cracked and they've only been in 6 months. Need to get DH to investigate and see what to do about it. Cross because they're the same tiles we had for 7 years before with no bother so can't see why they would crack this time.
Will feel bad if I have to get the chap back as he's my neighbour. At least I know where he lives though I suppose!
