Morning  reporting in from Procrastination Central

I did have a look at money last night, at just how much the credit card has been whalloped with petrol, hotels and food away, as I have not used my current account except for DD's. Got one of my credit cards down to £0 with surplus in the current account, just before the 0% period for that card runs out in October :money:

Need to tart the Unification costs onto either that card or another empty one depending on which one is going to give me the longest 0%, :money: so I really need to get a wriggle on with the paperwork so I can find my offers and the various codes I need to quote (if any).:(

Morning started ok, fed DW, DS decluttered to nursery, peeled some carrots for some soup for later, sat down with herbal tea (1 liquorice tea bag and 1 fennel tea bag in the same mug - for all you milk making mummies this does help give you a little bit extra oomph :D) while DD4 was taking a nap, and I haven't moved my harris since

Right, I will go back into DD2 room and carry on in there seeing as no point sorting my paperwork until the room is 100% done.

Any joiners for a 11 o'clock flinging session?

ETA re herbal tea, because you are putting 2 bags in one cup, as long as you have put enough water in the kettle, just pour more water on it for a 2nd cup and leave it a bit longer to brew on while feeding DW/WM/TD/itty bitty flybaby and you have another drink waiting without anymore hard graft that putting the cup to your mouth
The cold never bothered me anyway

Its after 11 and I still haven't even gotten started on my list...

Ive spent all the time since my last post trying to convince call centre staff in the Philippines that my name is actually my name, not their misspelling of it, and because I cant guess at their misspelling, they wont alter the duplicate charges on my account..

    Think its time for coffee...
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

thirfty I did actually buy one last week but didn't quite feel like I had the hang of it. I couldn't work out whether she or I were too small for it as I felt like she was going to fall out. I will try again tomorrow with a doll I think. Especially as I've only just broken free for the third time today. Although I do love the cuddles.

Going to have a look at ofsted reports ahead of high school browsing then fly if I can.

I had a mobywrap. It was amazing, well worth the money and I sold it on fleabay for a decent price after as well.

Valli - I didn't get any work :( I know that I have paid work from start of November until July, which is fab, but I feel a bit useless. Do you do primary or secondary? I'm the latter.

Hugs for those who need them this morning and spoons and sticks. I feel I need a stick today, don't like this weather.:(
Have been to kids primary this morning as their teacher asked me to help with reading, I'm gobsmacked at the range of ability. I will keep this to myself (other than you lot) but my little chicken is reading at a level better than most of the kids in the year above her. One kids asked me the colour my kid is on and I told her I couldn't remember and that I had come to listen to her read instead. Unpaid but enjoyed it.

Now I have CBA fever. Want to knit more of baby cardi I started last night instead. Suppose I should post a list.....

Can't remember which mummy posted about having difficulty getting baby to sleep unless against your chest- have you tried a wrap type sling? My DD was the same and until I bought it, I couldn't do anything. With it on, she was happy, I could peg the washing out, clean the kitchen etc

One screaming baby deposited into sling. 2 mins later fast asleep. Think she was just too little before. Still is a bit so pinned her up.

Thifty I thought getting married was about exchanging vows - and taking that bit seriously. I simply don't understand why people spend thousands and thousands of pounds on it all the surrounding stuff and then ask for money to have a holiday. Weird.

Many moons ago I was engaged to someone, and it was called off about a month before it happened, which was fine. The 'list' was five words: Glass, cotton or wood, please. (I still have some of the things, and I love them, but I returned most of them.)

Asking for money is begging, as Pigpen said. And Skint's tale of £100 of premium bonds (and being disinvited if one is too poor!) is so far off the scale of acceptable behaviour that words, honestly, fail me. (And that doens't happen very often.)

I was invited to a silver wedding party where I was asked to buy Argos vouchers!! I simply didn't go and sent a nice card instead. And I have been invited to a wedding party where I was asked to pay AND take food for the barbecue. You can probably guess. I didn't go to that one either.

    Gorgeous baby roxy :)

Today is another catch up day after the babysitting yesterday. I slept like a log and woke at 8.30 to a phone call. Little dog howls if I am asleep and the phone rings. :D

Started the day with cleaning up dog diarrhoea. What joy :( Then DH popped in for some stones (as you do!) so he helped with it. He found more :eek:

Dog is now medicated and confined to the hall as it has no carpet.

I have managed to vacuum half the living room whilst sitting. Put chick peas and kidney beans in to soak and now have to try on-line shopping again. Monday's attempt was a total failure.
