Up half the night again.. I kept having coughing fits, Delilah demanded 2 feeds... 2am and 6am. Dot woke about 11pm and has been up every half hour or so all night with a raging temp I am struggling to get down :(

Girls ready for school but I need to go kick OH out of bed.. he is not going to be happy because I am not dragging Dot out to do the school run so he is taking them on his own!

  • pigpen - DS struggled with a night time cough last winter - until he tried putting Vick on his feet and then putting some socks on - it worked a treat!

hope Dot is feeling better soon - I remember those days.

Haven't heard from O/H this morning. He should be able to come home after they take the drain out. The difficulty will be fitting it around work.

I am completely cream crackered this morning. By the time I got back from visiting last night I was so thirsty - so I drank loads.... with the inevitable result that I was up regularly during the night.

Girls out the door.... I have the urge to fling... I have no bin space.. I might fling anyway.. the bins are emptied Tuesday so I guess I could fill the neighbours bins..

Anyone have any idea where the middle section of vacuum cleaner pipe is??? I've searched everywhere and it has been eaten but the dust bunnies in a bid to save their own lives.

Cuppa and knitting then on with the hovel..

CY thank you.. I can't use Vicks it sets my eczema off.. olbas oil does too, I am glugging the cough meds but they taste disgusting I might have to go grab a bottle of something less offensive when OH is back from school. Dot is so unwell OH managed to get out of bed and get dressed without her waking. She keeps saying she hurts but can't tell me where so I think it might be everywhere. She is crying for me then spent all night sleeping so close to OH he was on the cord on the edge of the mattress lol

Todays jobs while ever babies are asleep and everyone else is out being educated...

Ring.. Motobility peeps, council tax bodies (they wanted a letter and I can't remember if I sent it or not), podiatry (tiddles needs new insoles) Physio/orthotics (Moomin needs measuring for shoe raise)

Then I need to go shop for food.. not sure how I will manage it, I need a wally trolley and the wheel fell off mine and wouldn't fix back on. Write shopping list first. I need some bits from chemist too and to check on prescriptions for DS3 and Moomin and reorder for next month for DS3.

Opticians to make Moomin an appointment and will check when others are due.

Cuppa glugged off to fill the baby with milk.. again!

    Morning all.

Hugs, sticks, spoons, and get well soons to those in need :) Its a miserable day here and wouldn't you know it, I need to go the shops! Might just get DD to pop into Mr A on her way home instead. ;)

I should stop doing laundry & paperwork and get on with some actual cleaning today. I will have to clear the ironing pile first though as laundry is taking over the livingroom, and I have 2 big pieces of fleece that I need to wash, as well as some door curtains which have been under the stairs for over a year :o

I still need to do a couple of urgent bits from my list from yesterday, but I did manage to scan 3 years worth of cc bills which are now in the shredding pile, relabelled the ringbinders with my paperwork in so I can now clearly see what each one is as I filed papers, and got all the clothing washing done.

    Personal:
    Shredding
    [STRIKE]Pay CC[/STRIKE]
    Update finances (including business)
    Writing x 9 pieces
Toots list - making good progress on creating it. Just need to start doing some of the jobs :o
    [STRIKE] Emails / surveys[/STRIKE]
    Scanning (old documents from pre-2006)
    Ironing
    Colour hair
WM: trainers, cleaning cloths, fleece, door curtains

    Kitchen
    15 minutes....

    Hover and mop floor
    30 minutes to spare....
    Clean a window
    Sort the under sink cupboard
    Got an hour....
    Dust on top of shelves/cupboards/furniture
    Wipe the window sill
    Extras
    Wipe some door handles

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall & Stairs
    30 minutes to spare
    Dust the mantle
Dust any flat surfaces including the hearth
    Got an hour.....
    Hoover the floors
    Extras
    HHI

    Wednesday - Any bedroom
    15 minutes....

Clear a surface and dust it
    Got an hour....
Hoover any floor you can see
    HHMe time
    Dust lampshades and bulbs
    Extras
    Clear a hotspot
Find the hot waterbottles and test they don't leak (carefully)
    - thanks for the reminder, I need to buy new ones ;)

Going to pay the CC and check email, then set the ironing board up, find something to watch and get this pile cleared. Shouldn't take long as there's not actually that much. :D:wave:

    Morning

Sounds like hugs are needed for pigpen and cy and ~nice bossy~ for you Dusty

It is G-7 today! The Germans arrive in a week  SW3 has an exchange student coming for a week. Last time SW5 was a star and did not mention the war once  hoping he is as good this time. The good news is that with the strike at school nect Tuesday SW3 will be here to help finish (or even start in some cases!) tidying up.

Have a good day all x
