4 months missymoo! I don't remember feeding my first that frequently at that age. I might not be able to keep pace. Have you tried solids. I know when Dd1 was little the guidelines were 3 months however it is now 6 months for some reason.
Completed my 30 mins. Going off to get dd1 and hope she's perked up, then off to pr1mark for some undies as apparently none of them fit her. This I can believe as she's almost in my shoes and clothes.0 -
Jo that is the most fantastic story and I can just see toots walking in those shoes right noe
I'm sorry the weather was not so good but glad it didn't rain, I wish I had been able to get there, I'm pleased that you could go.
Here's the link for macmillan in toots memory if anyone else wants to contribute.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Jo.. that is so lovely... I am pleased Toots had the turnout she deserved. I know she had a rocky relationship with her family but I hope they realise what they have lost after seeing how much joy and love she brought to the world.
Could the fundraising links for Toots be posted again for those who missed them?
Babys 6 week check decluttered.. absolute waste of time. I need to register her at the surgery the fact they have her on the system already and all her details I couldn't do it as the clowns want her birth certificate..
They also want me to waste an appointment because they are too incompetent to read the letter from the consultant so are unable to change a 7 to a 13 or even a 13 to a 7.. I don't care which way they do it but it needs doing.. it isn't rocket science!
Off to find someone to boss to peel spudatoes.. mince and mash today, gammon and pasta tomorrow and Thursday is freezer lucky dip.. Friday I am having a Tesco delivery I think given how empty my cupboards are it might be a big'un too!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon all
Where has the day gone?
Toots has been thought of lots and thank you Jo for telling us the story. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I'm sad to say I never got to 'know' Toots but that story brought a tear to my eye Jo, thanks for sharing. Being a big shoe lover I know how important it is to wear a good pair when taking such a big adventure. I saved up to buy myself a lovely 'spensive pair with a red sole for my 30th and although thankfully wearable for special occasions have made sure the family know their final place is with me too (touch wood it's a long way off!)

I was going to jump back in with both feet flying but after looking at the house and deciding that redecorating first might be the best plan, it looks like I'll be back next week.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Came home from work and got stuck into the kitchen. Inside of all empty cupboards washed down, cupboard doors and handles cleaned, worktop and hob cleaned and Hoover chucked about! Sausages are in the oven for tea and now the bf is home he is arranging a cuppy for me to declutter :-)

DD is veeeeery slowly packing her stuff for camp. She is being very noisy and very slow.
Having looked at the house in the day light, I can safely say it is bogging. DH has left black scum (proper actual black scum from a lush thing) all around the bath. He's left tea towels all over the kitchen. Mess all over the hob. I could go on.
Right, must keep bossing DD so I can get on. Thank goodness for the slow cooker.

Lovely to see so many returners but I for one am on a nostalgic trip down memory lane seeing Penelope Penguin and Moggins posting again. In the dim and distant past back when the house was sometimes clean......
I came over to say I thought of Toots today and am grateful for the Facebook updates. I don't always have time to lurk or post here at the moment.
Dusty - is it inspired by the French woodpiles? I need to tidy mine and get more ordered this week.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
