Jo that's lovely.
Completed my 15 mins for both days, baby finally went down with a clean bum.0 -
Just popping in quickly to say I am trying to fly on the days when I am actually at home.
skinty I wouldn't have gone to the wedding either. The cheek of it !!! I have been asked for money in the past and have made a small donation plus a small gift too. I mean small
At 10.30 DGD and I went for a walk to a quiet place, a circle of stones (recently man made not ancient) near a stream and we had a quiet time thinking of Toots and saying my goodbyes.
cy I hope all goes well for your OH today.
I managed a quick clean and tidy yesterday as I was expecting DSIL for dinner. Now absolutely shattered. Did too much.
Tomorrow they are back again for dinner (they are staying in cottage next door) with all eight of our family but minus DS3 who is still in South Atlantic.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Aww jo thank you for that. Toots was before my time but she must have been really special, so many people have said such nice things about her. Can I ask what a Toots list is?
I'm feeding the greedy baby again, she's 4 months and feeds every 1 and half to 2 hours, day and night!!!! My house is always a mess Roxy, no matter how hard I try, my nearly 2 year old makes sure of that!
I keep tryin to post the list but it really hard to do on my phone! I've actually finally got to the bottom of the ironing pile so 2x HHI done and I've hoovered through downstairs, I've managed to do yesterday's job of mopping the floor.
Roo (nearly 2yo) is having a tantrum, he would t sleep this morning so is super tired but won't go to sleep!!!!! Consequently the house looks like a bomb has hit it.0 -
Madcatgirl- get that maternity bag packed especially your coming home clothes or you may end up with pre-pregnancy clothes and thongs if your OH has to pack it! I witnessed that happen to another mum on the ward bless!
That's at least one thing I don't need to worry about as all my pre-preggers clothes are already packed for the house move other than a couple of work suits which I hope to move without creasing themIt's maternity, work suits or nothing if he has to do that :rotfl:
Seriously though, I have begun to lay out my maternity bag stuff, so aim to get it sorted by the end of the day. I've been storming through my list again, but have just realised I haven't had lunch! Not the end of the world, as I had a really long lie in and didn't eat my brekkie until about 11, but I should probably go and make myself something now...March 2016 - £178,914.59; July 2017 £146,160.38
Mortgage end Sept 2043; Target - pay off by March 2022, now Sept 2021
Target balance July 2018 £112,5600 -
I have changed into joggers and a hoody and about to get stuck into this house... Its minging... I have walked the dog first however! He was sitting with his legs crossed
It was sparkling on Friday and now its taken on a hovel-esque type look which really isn't fetching.
Missy - a Toots list is assembled by completing the following steps.- Grab something to write with and something to write on.
- Go to any room in your house
- Make a list of all the things in that room which you want to change/decorate/chuck/fix/or simply just bug the life out of you
- Repeat in every nook and cranny of your home.
We all have discovered on our own journey that you can complete all the lists, but there is still something in each room, that you don't do, or never get round to. With the best will in the world, the fab ladies who post our thread and lists for us each week, wont get everything in your home because each of our homes are different. So your Toots list, is really your ultimate To-Do list.
But take note - it will never be empty ever again. Don't expect to clear it off... Think of it as "An ongoing work in progress"
HHC anyone?? I bet you could write a Toots list in HH Missy?

Jo - that's lovely for Toots - thanks for sharing that!
JustKaren welcome! I dip in and out of flying, but it's really helping me get sorted for a house move and baby at the moment.
These wedding stories are making my blood boil! Do people think that their guests are made of money?! I'm not married myself, but if I were (I have not plans to anyway), I think I would do it cheap and cheerfully - some of the best weddings I have been to have been done for a couple of grand all in, with pub receptions or BBQs, where guests have bought most of their own drinks. I did go to a wedding where the couple asked for contributions to their honeymoon - they had been together for about 15 years, so had everything they needed. However, they did it in a really lovely way, where you could buy them "coffee and cake", for £8 or "cocktails on the terrace" for £15 up to more expensive items. I thought this was quite budget friendly, and nice that you were actually buying them something tangible IYKWIM.March 2016 - £178,914.59; July 2017 £146,160.38
