We dont know what he said though. and its facebook ~ people use fb in all sorts of ways, some say stuff on there just to be interacting, they may not mean what they said in the way the OP interpreted(this is the problem when reading text compared to talking to someone).

He,s not on fb with the OP anymore so i would just forget it.
No but from what the op said they were not innocuous comments, the fact he has now deleted his account/blocked op suggests he's said something inappropriate.

Is he in anyway hot? I'd hook up with him to see what all the fuss is about...

Joking. Tell your friend, by not doing so makes you a bit of a crappy friend.

Thanks all, so many different opinions.

I couldn't tell her today, I just couldn't do it :( She was talking about their break away in October and I just felt like a total b!tch.

It did cross my mind that he would plant the idea that it was me that had messaged him and maybe said to her not to say anything or something, but she seemed ok today with me.

I think if I had to tell her I'd need to do it in a text/message as I just don't think I could look at her and tell her.

As to what he said, it was nothing explicit/sexual, more a 'flirty' few things, and like I said a few disrespectful things about my friend.

    Facebook is the devil's work.

I can confidently say that facebook will never be a cause of any problems for me.:)

Why do people play on it when it seems to cause so much friction? Just leave it alone and get a real life!;)

If you can't tell her to her face ...then don't tell her at all.
Would YOU want to be told something like that in a text by someone -especially someone you worked with ?

He was flirty not lecherous - for all you know it was one of his mates on his FB....Let it go if you can't tell her to her face or it'll look like you are trying to stir.

  • if shes a good mate, u should tell her, ive put myself in all kinds of !!!! for my MATES, at end of day ur her mate not his, if it was my MATE telling me i wouldn't hold any grudges with person, if shes just someone u hang round with i'd prob say somethin to him to sort himself out

situations like this u learn who ur true mates are, if you tell her and she !!!!s u off, she aint a mate, she prob has heard it from other people anyway

if he was flirtin with u, i'd deffo tell, cause any money i bet she finds out later on an its turned on u!!

Why the meddling? Get your own life and leave other people alone. That's the problem with so called social sites as they are anti social. It's obvious that you in a placethat you shouldn'dt be unless she it in danger. Either you fancy her yourself or you are a third wheel leave alone !!!!!!. These social network site.. i wish people spent more time working that fishing on these type of sites. This all on the pretence you don't fancy her yourself which would make you a creep.

The fact is she's NOT a "friend" she's a work mate who you are friendly with by the sound of it and you don't have the "history" you'd have with a friend .

Why would the OP fancy her? Have you read any of the OP's other threads? I think its highly unlikely thats the case.

The creep is the person who sent those messages in the first place.
  • i would print them off, take her out for coffee and say "was [boyfriends name] drunk the other night"? he sent me these, and give them to her. I would want to know if my boyfriend was doing this, and the questionable things he was saying about me. If he would do and say these things to her friend, he could be flirting with others. I would also be covering my own back, guys like him have a habit of twisting things, i would tell her, no question. i couldnt look her in the eye and consider myself any friend at all if i didnt and i would expect my friends to do the same for me
