What's your strangest dream?

I don't know about my strangest dreams but I could do with blanking recurring dreams out of my sleep. Have had the same dreams at least twice a week for months. I had the same dream again twice last night.:(This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Fire is assiciated with creativity, others in our dreams are different facets of our personality.
Having both a man and woman stood with you suggests there is something happening or you hope will happen that every part of you believes in even though like the storm its scary you are fully on board and excited.
I would imagine that perhaps you are on the brink of realising a new creativity inside of you or you have already realised you posess a unique skill and would like to explore it further.
I think the dream was very symbolic, and yeah, I am going through some big changes at them moment, and discovering myself again and I have found I possess certain things in me that I never knew I had, so good analogy!Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -

Recurring dreams are the minds way of telling us there is something in your waking life that you need to deal with, the frequency of the dreams indicates it's something thats playing on your mind.
Feel free to pm me if you want me to try and decipher it for you, I'm no expert or psychologist but it might help get rid of them.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

Thank you so much for taking time to analyse all our dreams for us(especially mine!)
Whatever the reality of why dream what we do is, it's interesting to hear the theories that we could apply0 -

It's my pkeasure I really enjoy doing it, I forgot how interesting it is.
How or whether people use the interpretations are up to them, even if they make you think about your inner feelings then they have done a job.
Dreams have been the inspiration for so many important discoveries, wonderful books and art work.
I love to think that dreams are our minds way of making sense of the vast amounts of information we are exposec to every day.
There are so many things we miss consciously when speaking to people or observe events, I believe that dreams show us the things we missed.
Such as aspects of peoples character that we could take board if we only had time to fully process conversations etc.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
I dreamt that I was in a car and it was sliding all over the road. I tried to reach the brake and steering wheel but I could not as it turned out my husband was in the drivers seat and I was sitting behind him. Horrible.
I guess it means I feel not in control,of my own life.

When we dream about other people it is generally because there is an aspect of their character that you know you need to find in yourself.
The out of control car is very literal you feel out of control decisions are being made or things are happening that you want to control and you can only do so by taking on a certain trait of your husbands, in this case controlling the car calmly.
This isn't your unconscious telling you your husband controls you, its telling you to be more controlling and perhaps be stronger yourself.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

Lucky you :rotfl::rotfl:
But seriously dreaming about rivers indicate you are reflecting on your feelings and past experiences, maybe rick wakeman has a virtue you secretly wish you had.
Scuba diving into the river suggests you are delving pretty deep into past experiences and feelings and you can't quite make total sense of them, hence the muddyness.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0
