No, not really - I'm more interested in the Nazi and planet dreams. I do agree that sometimes dreams can be meaningful (Jungian archetypes etc), but mostly I think it's the brain mentally filing images and things we've read in real life or that have happened to us. I have some friends who do lucid dreaming - they can direct the course of a dream but I've never been able to do that.

Ooh I've remembered another one - when I menstruated I would sometimes dream I turned into a vampire and bit children. Rejection of motherhood etc. I especially liked dancing in a circle with other women vampires and feeling my fangs grow. Made perfect sense to me, but it really freaked out an occultist I knew. To balance it, I would sometimes dream I took in abandoned kittens when I ovulated. That all stopped when I had a hysterectomy in my thirties - I guess the ambivalence was over, although then I started taking in cats in real life.

I always have really strange, vivid dreams. Quite often I'll have dreams that leave me 'shaken' all day, just because they're so odd and disturbing. One theme that does reoccur in my dreams, especially when I'm stressed, is that I'm trying to shower and I can't - there'll be something weirdly wrong with the shower, like it's just a shower in the corner of the room (or in the garden, or over my bed!) and it doesn't drain anywhere and I know I can't use it. This always stresses me out and I wake up really anxious. I think I'm just weird!

Do you find you're busting for the loo after these dreams?

Oh certainly most dreams are the replaying of events etc, it's recurring or very memorable dreams that tend to have deeper meanings, my direct analysis of the childhool planet dream is the house is you and naming the planets was perhaps during a period when you were learning about many new things and a desire to learn more, finding it so wonderful indicates you were enjoying learning new things and looking forward to learning more.
I think the nazi was as you say a reaction to what you read and your brain replaying it.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.
  • I always have dreams about needing to use the toilet but when I find one there's something preventing me from using it such as no doors on the cubicles, no cubicles at all just a row of toilets, toilets in the middle of the street (not in a toilet block or anything). I always wake up from those dreams feeling anxious too.

I also have lots of dreams about train stations but not really going anywhere, being chased through the estate I grew up on then being shot and a house with white walls, floors, ceilings etc and only one window in the whole house.

Dreaming about showers indicates there is something messy in our waking life or something we feel guilty about that we want to cleanse ourselves of.
The inabilty to shower indicates the situation is something you are unable to stand up to or change due to feeling we are responsible for the messiness.
Perhaps you feel the need for a fresh start but have the inability due to feelings of guilt or responsibilty.
I often associate these dreams with romantic relationships.

Yes I'd go with that - I must've been about 8 when I had the planet dream and I suspect we were covering astronomy at school. I was one of those weird kids who asked for homework when they just didn't do homework in my junior school because school wasn't going fast enough for me. I remember one summer holiday doing a massive project on different breeds of horses - nice shiny folder with sections, tracing pictures of horses from books. I was always badgering my parents to take me to the library so I could get more books. I was horse-mad as a kid - practically begged to muck out at the local stable where I rode, and saved up my pennies and bought a complete grooming kit even though we didn't have a horse, but it meant I could groom my imaginary horse. Hours and hours of fun.

I'm no expert, but the common theme I see there is lack of privacy?

This dream indicates you feel threatened and pressurized, a house always represents self, do you feel your life is without colour, or excitement, the single window indicates you are only seeing or using small parts of your talents, open your eyes more, embrace new experiences and explore talents you may have .
The train usually represents progression personally or professionally, the train going nowhere is self explanatory.

Lol, no - I just wake up worried that I can't shower! Bizarrely, we seem to have always lived in houses that have had problems with the bathrooms, and I think that's what triggered it.

Toilets often represent our needs and wants, not being able to use a toilet indicates you feel your needs and wants aren't being met.
The need for privacy indicates you dont want to appear needy and you would prefer people to understand your needs without being told.
As you can see all the posters dreams have a comm8n theme, her subconscious is shoutjng at her!
