What's your strangest dream?

  • I have vivid dreams quite often and when I wake up after having them I think about them all morning then usually forget later on in the day. I get stabbed quite often in my dreams :(

When I was at school I always used to dream about getting ready for school then wake up and have to do it a second time...it was so annoying. Another recurring dream I have is walking past a harbour and the wind blowing me in the sea or realising my old rabbit is still alive and I hadn't fed her in years so she is like a skeleton.

My son (10) had a marvellous dream this week! He dreamed he went into Worcester cricket ground on a zip wire (he did go and watch the cricket during the school holidays).

He landed in a swamp (in the dream!) and someone posh came out of the members tent and said "Would you like a cup of tea, Sir? It will take me 3 minutes". Then some of the Worcestershire players came over to say hello. :-)

So, last night I had the oddest dream. I always dream in a lot of detail and see colour and hear sound (many don't so I'm told). I also remember every minute detail, no wonder I'm exhausted when I wake.

In my dream last night that we had to get rid of the devil. Yup. He was tiny we agreed with him we would try to kill him. In a family gathering my OH's mum (although not actually her) spoke to all relatives via a microphone asking for help to get rid of him. A rich relative ended up paying cash in a bowl which then turned to acid the bowl melted away. The tiny devil jumped out and my OH chopped him in half with his hand. I was interested to know how much money the rich relative paid, however was told this was strictly personal to the rich relative.

No, I don't take drugs and didn't have any wine!!

Seriously !!!!!!. Anyone care to decipher?
Dreaming about death is about a major change happening in your waking life, perhaps a job change or a change within the family.
Dreaming about death often means we need to make a change as your current situation is a dead end and you need new aspirations.

    Loving hearing of these dreams.

I dreamed last night that I was compare of a small village variety night. The acts were rubbish but I thought I was doing pretty well in working the crowd.... something I would NEVER EVER consider in real life! The first act was a comedian who was rubbish - his 'best' line was about his son sitting near him being interrupted trying to play on his Nintendo with a car steering wheel and the rain was drowning out the game noise...... then there was a bronze torso statue and this guy played music along the lines of 'I am a statue, watch me change' and he tried to change into the statue.... also rubbish! ha!

I dream quite a lot about my teeth falling out, and dreams of being in my childhood house and creepy/disturbing things happening.

These teeth dreams often recur during periods of increased stress, particularly when the you are caught in a dilemma and must try to satisfy opposing points of view.
A house in a dream always represents self, the house is you, when you are exploring the house you are reconnecting with yourself, possibly the creepy and disturbing things are you not being happy with choices you are making.

It started with a dream that I had killed somebody (don't know who) and hid the body. I woke up in a right state because my dreams are really vivid. A few weeks later I had a dream the police were on the verge of finding the body so I had to move it

For months I can have the dream that I am on the verge of being caught and have to keep moving the body somewhere else. This has been going on for a few years now. It's so real feeling I wake up shaking and actually questioning myself.

I've had some other crazy dreams that for some reason are all to do with death/dead people. Or the one that involved a giant jacket potato at the local post office with 3 multi coloured 10 pence pieces inside :o

Dreams about death are about changes in your life, it may be that you are at a dead end personally or professionally and your unconscious mind is telling you to move on in some way.
Trying to hide the bodies indicate you are resisting or are frightened of change.

I used to have a recurring dream that I was being chased by giant dolly pegs with evil faces, running down a corridor that gets smaller and smaller. Scary.

Having a chase dream usually indicates that you are feeling anxious about some aspect of your waking life, and you are putting yourself under pressure to conform to certain beliefs, or allowing someone else to put you under pressure.
Here's something to try, turn and ask in the dream what your pursuers want, they may just tell you.

I was in the middle of a weird dream this morning when I was very abruptly woken up by the postman ringing the doorbell....I can't remember anything about the dream but I still feel really strange and unsettled.

The other night I had a rude dream (!) about a colleague (!!) who is female (!!!!!) I am not bisexual and if I was I would not be attracted to that colleague, so it was something that made me wake up going 'huh'!
  • Ooh where to start lol!

My partner went missing so I trained Shetland ponies to find him.

My baby turned into my dog who turned into ice-cream and I cried because I didn't know if I should eat it.

Came home to find the Queen playing piano in my attic.

Hitler stole my phone to play Candy Crush.

People in dreams always represent ourselves or an aspect of their character that we need to take on ourselves, eg if you dream of your dad and he was a calming influence it may be that you need to be calmer.
If you dream of someone quite reckless then perhaps you need to be more spontaneous.
Think about the person you dreamt of is there some part of their personality you need to replicate?
