  • I think the strangest dream I have had was when I dreamt that a man jumped off a bridge into the river not far from where I was living at the time and he died, for then a few days later hear on the news a man had jumped off the same bridge into the same river and killed himself. Freaked me right out!

Lieja can I ask whether you manage to fly in your lucid dreams?
Dreaming of flying means you feel released from things that were holding you back.
If you were only attempting to but not managing to fly I would say perhaps you know that only you can release yourself from the constraints of things holding you back but you are still unwilling.
    Next time truly fly.

Occasionally I do fly, but usually quite a short distance off the ground and I really have to concentrate to stay in the air. Whereas in 'normal' dreams when I fly it's always really high and it's easy.

Wow extremely telling, basically your subconcious knows you can rise above your troubles and acheive anything, it's your concious mind that is holding you back, hence the concentration required and only reaching a certain height when lucid.
Your dreams are telling you you can do this, your concious mind knows you can do it, it's just that it is going be hard work, but look at what can be achieved with concentration, hard work and a bit of bravery, you could easily fly.

  • Reading these are so funny..some quite disturbing though...

I have one of the following usually... either being chased which is the most recurrent theme (by witches or zombies or something that has encompassed the world and threatens my life), flying (either very well or finding it hard to get off the ground while being chased) and on a few occasions going to Australia to visit relations that I have seen in years but via submarine..? Always distressed when I wake up and realise I am not there though..

Then there are other dreams about my boss which I won't go into...;-)
“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".

Having a chase dream usually indicates that you are feeling anxious about some aspect of your waking life, and you feel under pressure to conform to certain beliefs, or allowing someone else to put you under pressure.
Zombies are an indication of unique skills you are ignoring.
Are you under pressure to ignore your unique skills, are you under pressure to use your unique skills?
The fact it is recurring is indicative of your subconcious shouting at you.
As for your dreams about your boss pm me if you like.
The submarine dream relates to exploring your inner emotions, water being our emotions, being under the water meaning exploring hidden emotions.
The fact that you don't reach your destination and being so upset indicates you aren't exploring or displaying your inner emotions in waking life.
The people we dream about have a certain character trait or skill that we need to be utilising in waking life, perhaps think about what traits you most relate to the relatives you dream of and explore how you can use those traits in waking life.
I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.
