Thanks everyone
Hope you all had Happy mother's days as well.
Another ill day for us Saturday night/yesterday. It's neverendingI'm really hoping it clears soon as I can't cope much longer with this little sleep and constantly feeling rubbish.
We did have a few sales over the weekend, and I got a handful of items listed.
Payday today hurrah! I haven't actually worked out the finances yet so not sure what the deal is.
I definitely need to crack on with ebay this month though, so hope some energy finds me soon!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hi jwil,
I really feel for you with the bouts of illnesses ((hugs)) i hope it passes soon and that you feel better and can get a good rest
Well done on your sales and listings :T Are you aiming for £200 this month? I don't know what to set my target as this month as i am truly bayed out  I have a couple of bits of furniture to list but family have mentioned possible interest so i will see. That is truly it though  So i really am struggling for any sort of target - any suggestions?
Hope your car is ok - i have a light pretty much constantly on in the car and it is both annoying / worrying as i have no way of knowing whether anything does need to be checked out
I had a good little flurry of sales at the end of last month which really did help out - i messed up on postage on one though and although the buyer was constantly messaging me they've not been in touch since they should have received it so hoping there are no problems there :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Thanks DDFW
I'm aiming for 200 new listings this month
As you've done the whole self employed bit before, have you thought about buying to sell on? You've got such an eye for bargains, you must be able to make a few ££s there.
Have you googled the light on your car? That's what I did. The AA and RAC I think do explanations of which lights to check out urgently. Otherwise I've taken it to a garage and asked them purely to do a diagnostic on it - that is tell me what the fault is and no more. It only takes a couple of minutes so doesn't cost very much."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Another awful night here last night. I was up all night being sick
Little jwil for the first time ever almost slept through, just waking for a bottle at 4am. It would have been lovely to take advantage of that.
It's really getting me down now, there must be an end to it all."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi jwil,
Hope you feel better soon and then you can appreciate little jwil mostly sleeping through
The annoying thing with my car light is that its pretty much been on since i got the car  when it came on i kept taking it back to the garage but the light is due to a previous fault that has been fixed - It is so annoying as i have no way of knowing if a new fault has developedAlot of the huge bills i've had on the car - and this is in the £100's and easily over £1000 recently have been due to faults that existed on the car that i was assured weren't faults  - we know the person i got the car off
:(:(
Thanks for the suggestion re. buying to sell but to be honest i had sort of thought about it but wouldn't know where to start in terms of purchasing stuff. I am going to aim to list 10 items this month - 2 furniture, 2 tops, 1 book, not sure where i'll find the other 5 things though...

Oh dear, Jwil, I wonder what keeps causing all this illness, sounds horrible. It's good that baby Jwil almost slept through, you really could do with a decent night's sleep.

Hope you're feeling better soon jwil. :grouphug:
I'm going to try for 100 items again this month. Hopefully I will actually achieve it! That said I did get a flurry of sales this week from relists! :jGE 36 *MFD may 2043
