Sadly still the illness continues :( He seemed to be perking up, but then was very bad again over the weekend so took him to the docs yesterday and back on antibiotics again.

We are both ill again too, so it's neverending here.

So, nothing done other than relists over the weekend. As it was buy it nows as well as auctions, I converted a few and sold one straight away :T

    Hope everyone is well :)

Sorry you're struggling with illnesses jwil. :grouphug:

Sorry to hear you're all unwell, Jwil. It's funny isn't how a spell of fine weather seems to lead to bugs all round. :(

Well done on the ebay sales, you're a real pro at this ebay thing. :)

Hope you all get well soon.

    Thanks everyone :)

Feeling a bit better now, although the bad cough and sore throat are still hanging around. Little jwil seems to be more perky so fingers crossed he will be shot of this now.

I had a couple of days off sick this week to try and clear it so fingers crossed.

Haven't achieved loads sadly. Though did get 49 lots on for DH yesterday :T and one for me.

Can't wait til payday. I haven't done my sums for next month yet, but things are going to be very tough again as we've got a hefty energy bill (it makes me  but it's not actually that bad in the grand scheme of things), the van insurance is due and a few other things are cropping up. We've also got a week off so would be nice to have some funds for that.

So, I'm guessing I need to try and aim for a minimum of £600 next month

I am due a £50 payment from You Gov, and have redeemed £10 from another survey site. I've also just done a £10 survey for something else, but don't know when I can cash that in.

So I am going to aim for 200 items on ebay this month . I work on an average of £3 a sale - some goes for more, some less, and of course plenty doesn't sell, but that's my aim.

I've got one item selling today presently and maybe another as someone enquired so that will be a nice start.

Oh, I forgot to say, my ebayer from last week, bought 27 items from me in the end :T :T That was on top of the 8 they originally bought :j That was a nice sale, and they were happy as the postage was actually less than I'd quoted them so less than expected.

I've got another ebayer who bought something very bulky a couple of weeks ago but has not been in for delivery and not rearranged delivery either  I've just rearranged delivery for today and will see if it gets there this time. It's really annoying as it's going to get sent back otherwise and I don't want it back. I also miscalculated postage so will be doubly out of pocket if I have to refund  The ebay gurus on the ebay board have also told me that despite having tracking that shows multiple delivery attempts, I will lose an INR if the buyer opens a case

It's a good job that most ebayers are perfectly fine!

Wow! Well done on your sales jwil. :j :T
Hoping you get rid of your sore throat and cough soon-it's a pain when they linger.
Fingers crossed that your item gets delivered this time.
I'm still struggling to achieve my bay of e target-it isn't that I don't have stuff to get rid of-it's just I have a myriad of different things to get rid of, so to photo and list takes forever! :( (as I can't tailor a single listing that will cover all the different items) :(

    Thanks tattycath :)

That's really frustrating about your listings - it does take so much longer when you have different things.

Are there anyway you can group them? I.e. maybe things that all fall within the same postage category, so you don't have to change that all the time.

Do you take all photos and then list after or are you doing each listing completely one by one?

I find that doing all the photos together, and then doing the listings also helps save a little time rather than having constantly to plug in and unplug the camera to the computer.

I tend to take photos of lots of things, then upload, then list the amount of things I have taken photos of. Then take more photos of anywhere between 10 and 20 things and repeat-when I don't get all disheartened and lose motivation. :(

It is very tedious and frustrating so I can understand it. At least every one item you get listed is another thing to leave the house.

I just have to stick my head down and plod on, I guess there's not much else we can do :o

    Happy Saturday everyone :)

    Hope everyone is well.

We've had a nice day so far, met up with friends for a drink this morning and have sat and flicked through a few books to go this afternoon.

I'm now going to try and get a few bits listed on ebay. I'm revising some of my unsold items to see if I can shift them, and then will add some new.

I did sell 3 items overnight, so that was nice to see this morning.

My ABS light came on in the car yesterday, but DH said it's gone out today again so fingers crossed that's ok for a while longer. A quick dr google suggests a sensor, but it came on during some horrendous hailstorms yesterday, so hopefully it was just a little glitch.

Hope everyone is having a good day :)

Yeah we had some heavy-duty showers on Friday but yesterday was utterly glorious. Hopefully the car will sort itself out, it's always a worry when those lights start coming on.

I am off out to spend the day scrubbing/painting fencing in the garden. Happy Mother's Day me. :rotfl:

And Happy Mother's Day to you, Jwil, hope baby Jwil has got over his recent illness. :)
