During the summer, I set the remote t/stat programmer to 'off' - it only kicks on if the temperature goes down to 5 degrees!!
I did think, I might have to reset it, when a few Mondays ago the outside temperature was 13.5 - (inside was 17.5 for awhile but went up), since then the weather has improved - so far been able to keep it off.
Though, are spending ..... on new improved double-glazed door & French doors/windows which should help in deep mid-winter.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
I haven't had mine on yet and I live in a caravan.0

It's an absolutely lovely day here in the midlands, and I'm off to Ibiza tomorrow for a week, so can put off the heating question until the 14th at the earliest Every little helps.....!0
