Its 12 C outside and about 19.5 C in the house
Why are they cold if the temperature inside is 19.5 C?
Do they complain of being cold outside in the summer when the temperature is around 20 C?0 -
Yes I've had to put it on occasionally over the past week. After putting on extra socks, and two heavy jumpers!
I didn't want to though! We moved house over the summer, so I'm still getting a feel of this new house! I'm pretty impressed though, it heated up quite quickly, and stayed warm. Now to figure out how to reduce electric usage, my OH doesn't know the meaning of conservative...bless him

I put mine on for a couple of hours yesterday. If it was just me and hubby we would wear layers and blanket but my 17 month old obviously wants to play, have baths etc so it isn't fair or healthy for him to be cold0

Not yet.
My heating bills have gone up after the horrible winter that only ended about 5 minutes ago, and I thought I was being careful! I'm going to make a concerted effort to use even less electricity this year, I only have wall heaters and they're a terribly inefficient way to heat a space.
The dogs will probably be allowed on the bed from tonight though!0 -
Mine is not on yet and won't be for a while yet.
My bedroom temp is currently 18 degrees, so a fair while to go yet before it needs to go on.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

This is a very good question and I'd like to know if I am the only one who notices that 20 C outside feels very different to 20 C inside? I'd also love to know why 22 C can be lovely and warm inside, but when the temperature drops further OUTSIDE, 22 C inside isn't warm enough??Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass

I wouldn't have put it on yet, but I succumbed for an hour last night to the nagging from the dog. It was the only way to watch tv in peace.:o
(I've only had him a couple of weeks so I'm still being nice to him - it won't last!)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
How do you all know what the temperature is in your house?0
