Rough news on the cold and cough. when is your next doctor's appointment?

Do you have to tell the debtors about anything re repayments? Hope you take it easy tonight :)

am watching Homeland.......pretty good I guess

    have lovely dreams XX

Thanks Buffy :) - never watched Homeland, was it okay?

I've got to go into hospital w/c 28th October, depending on when they can get me a bed. I'm hoping it's on the Monday so I can be out in time for the weekend. I've got an ultrasound appointment on the Thursday of that week too, so at least I'll already be there. I'm hoping they will get a porter to take me there in a wheelchair - they did last time I stayed in and it was quite good fun being whisked around!! :)

My creditors are pretty good when it comes to my illness to be honest.

I'm trying to take a break today, so no questions for me. I got around 6 hours sleep last night, which is good, but woke up with a really sore croaky throat so think my voice is going to disappear soon.

I've done a few surveys this morning and have been accepted to a study where I will get paid £20 when it's done. Pleased with that. Makes me feel better for not doing any questions.

Got my £30 from TCB yesterday too.

    Thanks Lou :A

I'm actually feeling better today :). The cold has reached the 'yucky stage' (use your imagination!), which means I'm sleeping right through now, but have a really hacking cough (sounds like I've been smoking for 80 years!). It's quite painful on my throat, so I'm sure I'll lose my voice eventually, but at the moment I sound quite husky and sexy ;).

I've taken another day 'off' work after my OH told me to take it easy today. I think that has probably helped me feel better. I'll get cracking again tomorrow.

I have been doing some surveys today though and have just redeemed for a £5 Amazon voucher. I have zilch in my account and would like to get some I can use for Christmas presents (although I've left it a bit late admittedly).

Forgot to add we've got some free tickets to see One Chance on Monday evening.

Sorry I haven't posted for a couple of days. I felt rotten on Friday as I only had 4 hours sleep and did the school runs too (I know, I'm a mug).

I'm still coughing loads, so it's really getting on my nerves now. Had a chilled out day yesterday and today. I've been getting more sleep, apart from being woken at 7am this morning with the thunder and lightening.

    Nothing else going on.

Hope you are keeping ok. Could you make porridge in your slow cooker the night before so it's ready for you in the morning (or rice pudding)
For the school run days why don't you make extra bacon but ties the day before and quickly zap in microwave ?

    Thanks Buffy and Dawn :A

Have to admit I haven't been very good at the whole breakfast thing yet, but that's mainly due to coughing so much - it often makes me feel sick and therefore I don't feel like eating that much, I've been having my Fortisip drinks instead. Must try harder :o. When I'm in hospital, I will get cooked breakfasts every day, so should put some weight on during that week.

I like the idea of making the bacon sandwich the night before and just heating it up Dawn - thank you :)
