    Thanks Lou :)

No more earnings today (haven't had the time in between running people around and OH took me out for a meal tonight). However, my Amazon balance has been boosted by another £10 :D

OH has also bought me new PJs, dressing gown and slippers for the hospital next week. Bless him :o

My poor mum has a chest infection and has now come out in hives, presumably as a result of the antibiotics.

Thanks Lou - they are nice and the majority of it is pink!! ;)

I'm currently at my mum's as she's not well at all. My sister had to call a doctor out to her in the early hours as she was feeling very dizzy and came out in a massive rash. Her face is all swollen too. She's had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics, but the doctor who saw her doesn't think she has a chest infection after all. So she's off the antibiotics and has been given some antihistamines instead. I think she's feeling a bit better now, but we didn't think she should be on her own, so I have come over to relieve my sister so she can go home and get on with things.

I'm doing some work and hope to get to £280 before going home.

Back at home now. My mum is okay bless her. I did her some soup and she had some bread with it. I'm going to spend most of tomorrow there too and make dinner for her. My sister is on call tonight though as she lives nearer than me.

OH is out with his mates for the night (because for the next 2 weekends I will need him here to help me out when I have my line in), so I have the place to myself.

I did manage to earn £10 whilst at my mum's, so I'm going for another £10 before I go to bed. I've also got my phone earning a few pence by watching some Apptrailer videos.

Need to start packing for the hospital tomorrow night. I want to make sure I'm ready for when they call saying they've got a bed for me. I hope it is tomorrow as the sooner I go in, the sooner I will be out.

Feeling a bid yucky today. I think I'm stressing about the hospital tomorrow. I'll be fine once I've got the line in, but it's not a pleasant experience!!

I've got my money up to £300 and will leave it at that for now. I'll see if I can work whilst I'm in hospital, but if I can't I'm not going to stress about it.

I'm back at my mum's now. I made her a nice dinner (roast chicken :)) which she ate most of. I got her some shopping too. Not much more I can do seeing as I will be the patient from tomorrow onwards.

Got lots to do tonight so that tomorrow isn't a rush, not that I know when I'll be called in. I'm just going to relax until they ring me.

Looks like a bed won't be available until after 5pm, so I'm back at my mum's and will try to earn another £10 before I leave.

OH is at home today as all the trains were cancelled as a result of the weather, so he's going to take me to the hospital later on.

  • Thinking of you, Emz.

Wishing you a pleasant stay in hospital (if such a thing is possible) and a speedy return to better health once you are home again. Best wishes to your Mum too, it sounds as if you've all been going through the mill a bit lately.

How sweet of your OH to buy you some lovely PJs etc for your hospital stay. Did he choose them himself?

    Thanks Lou and CBC :A

I chose my PJs etc. If OH had picked them, I'd probably end up with some silky nightie thing!!
