I don't have much to update with these days.
Spends have been kept at a bare minimum.
Pay day for me came and went and I had £18 left in the account before my wages hit, so happy with that.
Waiting till DH gets paid next week before moving money into the savings account but I aiming for at least £800.
Still have about £16 left in the shopping envelope and we don't need much so this should last.0 -
Hi Nymphadora, hope you are well!
Thats great you were still in credit before your pay went in, I love when there's more than pennies in the bank before payday, its a novelty with me!
Hope you get your £800 transferred into savings, that would be a great boost.
Catch up soon,
Mrs S x1st Jan 2014 £20,600 / 1st Jan 2015 £15,572.90**Feeling Hopeful that 2015 will be our Debt Free Year**0 -

Hi MrsS
Thanks for popping in, hope all is well with you. Yes being credit, even by a small amount, is great, long may it continue.0 -
Have been very busy this last week but it's DH payday so I've taken time to sit down and sort money.
Savings this month are £968.56 :j:j:j
Really pleased with this as we had car tax and a birthday to pay for this week.
Roll on next pay day0 -

Envelopes have been sorted for food, petrol and gas and elec.
I have bags of coins for bus fares and the kids school lunches.
Went to the shops for some bits and bobs and picked up a few things we needed.
£23 spent on non food so was paid on my debit card so need to remember and account for that in my figures.
Dinner out tonight for a family birthday but will be paid for by family member (their choice) so no cooking tonight :j0 -
That's work over with for this week :j
DH has gone to buy a part for his car so need to check how much that was and check the banking to see if there is enough in the current account to cover it.
Council Tax bill for the next year is in so need to sit down and work out next months budget.
Not sure what's for dinner so need to have a look through the freezer.0 -
DH spent £42.60 on the car, there should be enough in the account to cover it but will need to keep my eye on it.
DH has done 8 hours OT and possibly another 4 today so that's good and will go towards the savings pot.
Council tax bill has remained the Same as last year so no extra expense there.
Dinner will be something quick as kids have after school activity tonight so mums taxi will be in full use.
Right off to have my lunch.0
