Thanks killerpeaty and debtfreewannabe321.
Well we are still a poorly household but not I'll enough to be off school or work.
DS is off to camp tomorrow for the weekend so excitement levels are through the roof. DD is sulking a bit but I am not listening to her she has been on these trips before so it's her brothers turn.
Not checked the bank recently but have been spending again but mainly on medicines and a few more bits for DS trip.
DH has done 16hrs OT so that should get added to his salary at the end of this month, he could still have more as the cut off isn't till the 14th of the month.
Right off to make dinner for everyone.0 -
Camp? Like tents and ants?
Wow hubby is really getting a wiggle on isn't he? Glad you are doing well.0 -

No not as in tents, though I am sure he would love that, ants and all lol
Yes I have DH well trained in getting as much OT as he can.0 -
Ok so we are all still a bit off color but everyone is at school/work except me as I don't work Friday.
Next 2 weeks shifts I have had to work around DH shifts as the kids are off school so I am working Tues/Wed and the following week I am Thur/Fri.
So today I have had a good look at our savings. Our goal is £18k by October. We had some of that already saved, this added to my last few months savings we have £12,003.40
Right off to have lunch I am starving.0 -

Been very busy few days with the kids being off school.
So money wise we are not doing very good have spent too much eating out and e pertaining the kids. Need to do a full post mortem of the bank account lol
So friends of ours have invited us to share their rented cottage with them over the Easter weekend. This will cost us approx. £200 by the time we factor in petrol and food costs, I am also working good Friday so will need to travel down after work on Friday. Not given them an answer yet but will need to today. I would love to go but it will mean taking £200 from our savings and I really don't want to. Oh I hate making decisions.
Have a fridge full of food so plan to spend the afternoon cooking.0 -
Well we have decided to go away next weekend, not going to worry about the cost.
Still haven't checked the bank, I am not feeling brave enough lol. Will do it later on today though. CB due in tomorrow so that's good news.
DS needs new school shoes though before going back to school.
Today I am blasting through all the washings and making a few more meals for during the week so I don't need to cook much.
Weather is grey and miserable as usual round here, so damn depressing sometimes, let's hope we get nice weather next weekend.0
