Well looks like it was just too much rich food rather than a bug as feeling fine.

Went to get a few items at the shops

£9.90 in FF - Cash from food budget
£3.00 parking in town. Debit Card
    £5.80 lunch Cash in purse
    £3.00 John L - Debit Card

Dinner is beef, potato and veg.

Looked at the budget and until I know how much DH has got paid along with how much he thinks the MOT will be I wont be able to work out how much I can put in the savings account.

Have put a washing out to dry but keeping an eye on it as it looks like it could rain.

Been MIA again. I am having a massive fibro flare up at the moment but today I've felt a bit better so managed to get a few things done.

It's not going very well on the money side I am afraid spending far too much because I just can't do much.

Still hopefully things will pick up, kids break up in just under 2 weeks so hopefully apart from the days I am working we can have long lie ins and also there won't be the need to rush to after school activitys. Fingers crossed for some good weather too.

Aww :( I find that I spend more when having a flare up too, food to soak up medicine, extra transport payments... I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well.
  • So sorry you've had another flare up :( I hope you are feeling better soon xx

    Thanks Killerpeaty and Debtfreewannabe321.

Well things are getting better, the weather has been great the last few days. I have always said the sun and heat helps my fibro and I am feeling the benefit.

Work done for the week but lots to do getting organized for the kids finishing off school this time next week. End of year parties, school trips, sorting out the endless amount of school work they are sent home with etc.

So onto the important bit finances, I have no ideas where we are in terms of our goal of £10k by October so going to have a look and see. I have had to remove funds from the savings to cover a few things.

DH has 7 hours OT due to be paid this month, he has 4hrs OT today but he won't get that till July.

I have been offered a few extra shifts over July to help cover holidays, I have said yes to 3 extra days over the month but really don't think I could manage more. As I said before my job is all typing and the biggest problem I have with fibro is pain in my wrists, elbows and fingers so don't want to put myself under too much pressure but at the same time don't want to be seen us in flexible with work.

Right that's the washing machine done, off to hang it out.

First day of the school holidays today. Need to keep on top of spends. Kids have been told if it aint free we aint doing it lol

I am also feeling a good bit better thankfully. I have decided I need to eat better, exercise and loose some weight.

So today I cleared the kids rooms (with their help) put 3 loads of washing on and walked to the shops.

0.87 miles (I know not much but it's a start) walked.
£6.12 spent at the shops (this was for dinner and lunch meat)
    Spends on kids/activity's £0.00.

    Dinner is lasagna with salad.

DH has done 8 hers ot this week but doesn't think there will be much more has they have just taken on 30 new members of staff.

Right off to get a load of washing in off the line and make a start on dinner.

    Heya!

Nothing wrong with the free kiddie activities, I loved going to the museum with my mum when I was younger, in fact still love it! You could always look at those voucher sites, voucher cloud is apparently quite popular.

Well done with the walking, I walked about 1.5 miles today and I ache :o

We are very lucky there are a good few free museums Tec not that far from us.

I have amend my signature, seems like I am wishing their holidays away and in a way I am, I have been dreading the spends involved as we really need to knuckle down with the savings.

Anyway the kids have been out playing with their friends this afternoon so they have had fun for free.

Tomorrow if it's nice DH will take them out for a bike ride so again free.

My feet are so very sore with me being on them all day doing housework, just going to do the dishes, a bit of ironing then I will have a bath and a wee gin or two ;)

Feeling it cold today so have the heating on for an hour to take the chill off.

    So update for Friday

    1.4 miles walked
    £3.30 in Tescos
    £5.24 Asda

    Today

    1.08 miles walked
    £19.90 Lidl
    £6.49 FF

I am also keeping track of my calorie in take. Trying to keep to 1200 a day. On my 3rd day now and so far on track.

Will weigh myself tonight and will put my weight here.

Right off to do some banking and paper work.

I didn't get round to weighing myself last night but I will tonight.

So a NSD day :j very happy.

I went through last months accounts  no savings at all and in fact dipped into them.

Suppose at times these things can't be helped. So £500 transferred to savings that leaves £300 not accounted for for bills etc, so technically have this to spend on the kids but going to try and do as many free stuff as possible with them (tight fisted mum here :rotfl:)

So work for me tomorrow DH off so he will have the kids, think they are going for a bike ride or something as long as it's free I don't mind lol

Right off to make my lunch for work tomorrow and to sort my clothes.
