I don't know if this has been posted before...
Here's a link to help you find the cheapest betamax provider out of...
- freecall.com
- internetcalls.com
- netappel.fr
- poivy.com
- sipdiscount.com
- sparvoip.de
- voipbuster.com
- voipcheap.co.uk
- voipcheap.com
- voipdiscount.com
- voipstunt.com
- webcalldirect.com
- voicetrading.com
A simple example, if I'm looking for the cheapest calls to Vietnam, then voicetrading.com rates are about 2cents (in Euros) per minute cheaper than other betamax providers.
Comparison link: http://backsla.sh/betamax
Hope this helps you save hours of Google search!
Edit: Just found out that voicetrading.com are for business use.0 -

Hi
Just about to set up netgear voip adaptor and need some serious help!
I have a BT landline and currently have belkin wireless network set-up...
Is there any advantage to setting up the voip adapter as per netgear manual?
OR
Any advantage to setting it up 'behind' my current wireless router?
If so, how do i go about doing that?
Will i be able to set up voip adapter to use voipcheap.com???0 -
Anyone use Freecall? Their website just accepted 10 euros from me, but when I make phonecalls I get cut off after about 30 seconds, being told that I don't have enough credit. There seems to be no facility for contacting them through their website. Is this site genuine?0

Freecall is part of the Beatamax group, they have been around for a little while. It sometimes takes a little while for your credit to show through. Give it a day, if there still is a problem, email their CS."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
Im really confused over voipcheap.com rates. It seems the GBP rates are more expensive than the EUR rates!?
Can anyone clear up my confusion?0 -
I noticed that the other day - I think that there is a mistake in the exchange rate programmed in that calculator: it looks like it's the reciprocal of that it should be - so I only look at €.
i.e. should be 1.5c = 1p but it says 1c = 1.5p
In the account it's all listed in €uros and charges correctly.0 -
Anyone know how to configure a Netgear TA612V for Freecall, tried to configure the router but it fails to connect with the Phone Port LED flashing. It was previously configured was sipgate which worked fine.0

If you register with a euro account and use your credit card to pay for it and afte conversion rate it will still be cheaper then use pounds account .
For example 10 Euro is 7.7 pounds (at the time of conversion)
But for Text message is 0.05 Euro but in uk account is 5p therefore you have will a further 33% discount for your call !
ENjoy and Merry X'Mas !No Spend Required ! If I "Thanks" you Please "Thanks" me back ! Many "Thanks" !0 -
Have been reading the thread with interest. My free 2 months on sipgate are about to run out, I really find the incoming number function handy but with the end of the minutes I am looking for another VoIP provider that gives free UK calls AND an incoming number. Does anyone know of one or who the best one is???0
