I have found another job. I am working this week wednesday, Friday and Saturday night so that'll go to my CC. Does anyone know if I will be taxed the usual 22% or if it'll be more as it is a second job?

They now tax the same on each job unless your income then rises into the higher tax banding.

Thanks Shamu

I think the weekend will be ok, but on Wednesday I will be working till 2am. Might be slightly tired on Thursday. But I think being able to pay of a little extra on my CC every week will be very motivating :D

OH's week started very badly though. He had a job for today and I dropped him off on my way to work. Then he phoned me to say the weather was too bad and they didn't need him after all. Had to rush back to pick him up as it was in the middle of nowhere and he had to come to work with me. So now he had to drive back home and will have to come and pick me up. I think the total mileage for today will be about 80 miles:eek:

And for all that trouble he hasn't been paid anything. He is supposed to be working tomorrow and he has work for friday, saturday, sunday and monday do atleast that will bring some money in.

Because he was working on Sunday we couldn't do a car boot either. So that will have to wait for another time.

I am spending way too much again. I feel the need to go to the shops nearly every day just for one little thing and then I spend £10. What is wrong with me

At least I am working tonight and getting a free diner so I won't be able to pop to the shops. I have no will power. I also owe OH £30 as he leant me some money to buy my uniform for work. So that means I won't be able to pay of as much on my CC. But I should be able to make it up.

They came round to inspect my old flat the other day and the estate agent said she couldn't tell me yet if I would get my full deposit back and it would take 10-15 days! Is that normal or should I be worried. The flat was really clean and nothing was broken or damaged. So why could't she tell me straight away if everything was fine?

I am a little worried as I need that £665 back.

And I am very happy that I don't have £400 as I am sure that I would not be able to resist. But as the lady is quite eager to rehome little kitten she might cut her price quite a lot. Now I know I shouldn't do this but she is so cute. She's really fluffy and white with black ears and tail.

Don't go, Madnessa! You won't be able to resist once you get there and start cuddling that kitten!

I do a lot of voluntary work for a local animal charity and I'd say to everyone 'Don't BUY a kitten, go to an animal rescue and find one for nothing'. Not only will you be finding a loving pet but you will be giving a home to a cat that no-one wants through no fault of it's own. You may be asked for a small fee (but it's nothing like £400:eek: ). Of course, you'll still have ongoing vets bills and feeding costs etc. wherever you obtain a kitten from, but the love you get back is priceless in my book. We could NEVER live without a cat or two however skint we are:rotfl:

Good Luck whatever you do

I'm with Imp on this one. There are many unwanted kittens and cats out there waiting for a loving home. Could you look to see if there is a Ragdoll rescue anywhere?
P.S There is a ragdoll rescue, heres their email address rehoming@tbrcc.co.uk
why not drop them a line 1st, they may be able to tell you about the breeder as well.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

I went to see her... and she was gorgeous. She was beige and had a dark brown tail and dark brown ears and a kind of mask going round her eyes too. But... in my opinion she was not very well. Her eyes and noes were running and she didn't have much energy. This lady had about 20 adult ragdolls. They all looked great and well groomed but she had a tiny bungalow and they were outside in cages. Also a very strong smell of pee.

So we decided not to take her and we'll look elsewhere for a kitten.

I do think if she was healthy I would have taken her though. GORGEOUS!
