Good guess!
How d'you know that??
You don't have a horror story to tell about them do you??
It's the only health club I could think of in York; no horror stories as such but they do take people to court frequently for non payment of DD, so don't even consider just cancelling it. They will come after you & pursue you right to the end. You will be taken to court for breach of contract, and as you sign in 2 places to say that you are aware that the contract is for 12 months, they've got you! Their contracts are OFT approved as well.0 -
Friday turned out to be a no spend day :T
But then it went downhill. On Sunday we spent £13.06:
Milkshake * 2 - £2.50
Sweets - £0.86
Cokes - £1.70
Fruit - £2.50
Eggs (big box of 30) - £2.50
Toileteries in £ shop - £3
So atleast £5.06 of that was unnecessary!
I am now trying to find a car boot sale in York for next weekend so that I can get selling my old clutter.Don't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

I have just checked my bank balance and my first mortgage payment has just come out :j Not that it will make must difference to the amount owed. I think only about £100 is coming off the mortgage. The rest is interest.
Also just heard from the landlords from the old flat and they say someone will be moving into our flat a little earlier so we might get about £80 back from that. Will put that staight on my CC.
Hopefully will also get the deposit back. Though they are very fussy and have already suggested that we get cleaners in. But we will try and do it ouselves. The flat is not that dirty but it is quite big so we will have a lot to do next weekend.
They are coming to do the inspection on 26th of this month so then I will know if we passed!Don't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

Am currently on a job hunt for some waiting / bar work in a hotel. Have already applied to a few but I have very limited experience. I will need another job though as I've just signed up to a challenge to be debt free by Xmas. This means I need to pay of £1000 per month and I no way have enough money to do this.
Therefore another job is the only option! i need to find something for the weekends and a few nights a week. And I will need to find something by the end of this month.
So if any of you own a hotel in York and you need staff pick meDon't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

Yesterday was a good day. Didn't spend anything.
This morning I forgot lunch and popped into Tesco. Was a mistake. I spent £5.38 but I did need some air freshener for the car as we transported some bin bags in it at the weekend and it pongs. This was a very necessary buy. I also got loads of cheap coke as I need the caffeine and hate coffee, and some soup (I will work on my health after my money situation is sorted)
Tomorrow I will try and make it a no spend day.
I sorted through my stuff last night and already have quite a pile of things that can be sold. So we are hoping he weather will be good at the weekend so we can raise £50-£70 at the car boot sale.
Did lots of applying for jobs yesterday too and will do some more today. I did get an offer from some agency about drug trials  i am not yet that desperate.
OH had the day off so he went to our old flat and cleaned both the bathrooms and most of the kitchen :T They are now spotless. I'm very proud of him and this will help us get our deposit back which was £665. This will make a nice dent in the CC debt. We still have till next week Tuesday to get it perfect as we have the inspection then.Don't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry
