I know I stayed with OH on saturday night. He rented a movie and we were going to sit and watch it, eating takeaway (his treat) and I had to call it a day and go to bed...
So he ended up watching most of the film on his own!! How sad is that!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
I know what you mean. I fell asleep while reading the other day... at 8pm. That doesn't even happen to my parents.Don't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

This New Year I came down with the flu. OH and I got into bed and watched the quiz of the year with the curtains open so we could see the fireworks - it was one of my favourite New Years.£4000 challenge

It's so sad isn't it!! But bless OH he nearly left me to it and slept on the sofa  In his own house!!!! I was so embarassed!! But never mind.
So have you had any more thoughts on SW?Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
We have decided to buy a nice bottle Drambuie (quite pricey but we love it) and have a nice meal at home.
Ooooh, Drambuie, my favourite:j
One or other of the big supermarkets sometimes has Drambuie on offer. There was about £2 off when I bought our last bottle but it was a few months ago. Still not cheap but a bit cheaper than usual. Worthwhile checking all the supermarkets anyway.
Have a lovely evening when it comes.

I'd really like to try SW as I can't seem to find the motivation to get rid of those last few pounds. I would like to lose about a stone and every time I shift some I just seem to give up. I'm just not sure how much SW costs as I just emptied my account by putting another £35 on my CC wanted to get it to a round figure and now I have no money until next Monday. So at least I have nothing to spend and my CC is safe and frozen.
Also the meeting in my street is on Wednesdays and I'm not sure when my shifts are for this week yet but I know they have events on then.
But I would like to go if it isn't too expensive.Don't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

Thanks I'll look out for a special offer, I never heard of it until my dad came over for a visit a few weeks ago and bought a bottle. Since it is whisky I didn't want to try it but I forced it down and it was lovely. OH is also addicted. My dad was expecting to take some back home with him but we saved him from having to carry it :rotfl: Out of the goodness of our hearts ofcourseDon't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

I have just read the change your life in 101 days thread and found it very inspiring.
I'm much too late to join their challenge so I will be doing my own. I will turn my life around by Xmas 2007. I want to be totally sorted so that I have no need to do any new year's resolutions.
So far my goals are:
Pay off all of my CC (still £3450)
Change my diet and lose 1 stone
Become very disciplined with money and always be aware what comes in and goes out
When making "I WANT" purchases, give myself a 24 hour cooling off period to decide if I really want it
Give up one bad thing every week (my first is to be coke)
Get my flat sorted out (I have way too much clutter and a small flat) - I've already started on this last night as I got rid of loads of rubbish
Make sure I never run up a non-mortgage debt ever ever ever again (more of a life long aim this one)
I must learn to say no - both to myself and to other people
I want to be more focussed at work - I am still quite new here and getting used to the role. Now I need to start making an impression
I must have more respect for myself - by this I mean looking after myself better. No more feeding my body junk and I also need to remove make up every night and moisturise....
That is all that I can think of right now and after I have completed this challenge (successfully) I will start a new one for things like saving and paying off mortgage early.
These were all big goals so I will split them into smaller goals to make them achievable and not too scary.
First small goal is no more coke. I started this on Monday. So I need to find new things to give up for every monday till the end of the year. I think next week I will go for pizza.Don't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

Just to add to that list that I want to have a minimum of 2 NSDs every week without fail! This week I have spent waaaay too much yesterday and I need to get some chicken tonight. So tomorrow will potentially be my first.Don't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry
