OH is starting a possible permanent job today but it's only two hours every day. Though it will bring in about £350 a month so better than nothing. And as he finishes at 9am there is plenty of time to find another job.

As I need two NSDs still this week. I am trying to get my first one in today. I have brought my lunch in and am working tonight so I shouldn't have the time to spend anything.

I have made myself a diary for work so didn't have to pay for that and it has space for a to do list every day. This will help me be more focussed and I won't forget what I need to do all the time.

I am getting a little addicted to posting on here! I feel the need to write everything on this thread.

Am hoping it will make me feel obliged to stick to my aims.

Here is my CC repayment plan for the next month:

    9/07/07 - £60
    16/07/07 - £60
    27/07/07 - £350

This should bring my CC to 2980.

I haven't put down anything for 23/07/07 as I don't know if I will be working next week so not sure if I will get paid or how much. But there could be the potential for another £30-£60 there.

Feel free to yell at me if I don't stick to this

I have spent most of today getting organised at work. You would not believe what a mess my desk was in

I got my stationery delivery today and I have been filing things and tidying up. Looks much better already :D I will be able to finish it off tomorrow morning and then I will be ready for action. Have my new diary all filled up and a very long to do list. At least I have spent most of today trying to achieve one of my goals. Though on the health front I have achieved a big fat NOTHING. I had quite a bit of junk food today - I'm ready to burst.

But so far I have not spent any money today! Fingers crossed

I'm glad I'm not alone, there must be something in the air. Just done all my filing, put all our old files into an archive box and I now have much less paper on my desk. Still loads to do, but I have a tidy space in which to do it :T

Hopefully will be able to get my nose to the grindstone tomorrow and get loads of work done.

I wouldn't worry about the junk food everyone does it every now and then. I had a 2 finger kit kat early and felt very naughty.

Have a good day tomorrow, hope you get loads done

Was supposed to be working last night but the building got evacuated about an hour after I got there and we were all sent home. Won't be getting paid much for that then! Also now I'm not sure if I will be able to work Saturday or even for the next few weeks.

I knew something like this was going to happen. Just when you have everything planned something goes totally wrong.

I'll just have to wait and see if I can still work there and if not look for something else asap!

Just heard from Estate Agents and they want to have the carpet cleaned for £40 as there is a mark on it (I didn't see it so it can't be a big one) and there is a dark mark about 3cm long on the back of the white leather sofa. I can't remember it and if it would have been me I think I would have remembered doing it.

So they have a quote for the carpet (£47) and are getting one for the sofa.

What should I do? Just accept it or appeal. And if I appeal how long will it take as i need the money now! My CC will start charging interest this month so I need to get as much paid off as possible.

Also they lied to us (or made a mistake) about the council tax, said it was B or maybe C and it ended up being E! Also they didn't tell us there was no night meter for the electric so everything got charged at day rates including the storage heaters and boiler (what's the point in having storage heaters if there is no night meter) Our first bill was £260 for three months and now I know why! And we were freezing cold all winter too so as to save on electric. So glad I am not renting anymore. These people are a nightmare.

Oh... and I also haven't had the rent refunded yet as we moved out a week early so other people could move in. Wish we hadn't bothered now!

    Hi RAS

Haven't had a refund yet and also not sure how many days worth I will get. We moved out on 26 June and the new people moved in 29 June. So I don't know if they will refund us for the days that the flat was empty. We should get back about £21 per day so the extra money for the 27th and 28th would be quite nice.

I bet they only refund us for 29th and 30th which I think is unfair! I want the £84!

Just got paid for my second job so I paid another £100 into my CC. Now stands at £3350. I want to get it to £3000 by the end of this month. Next week I'll get less than £50 so not much there.

Total debt now stands at £5581.36. At least that means that next month I WILL be under the £5000 mark.

OMG that still sounds like so much  It takes me nearly 4 month to earn that kind of money
