    :j Happy Hump Day....

So this morning I have spent writing all my letters to my creditors advising of the change of debt management company..:D With offers of payment, same as sc were paying.. So I have half used the NEDCAB site and improvised.... I am hoping this doesn't cause any upset but will have to wait and see.. I have also jotted a  note to PRAT to let them know if they are successful in locating the info I require they will now need to deal direct with the PUZZ.. and her claws...!! Just need to wait for creditors to supply me with the payment details and I can set those up and we will be off and running.. hopefully smoothly.....

Had a lovely chat with SC yesterday and they are closing my plan after payments have gone out on the 5th-7th ish... They wish me well and the chap had a lovely voice...:D

So off to lunch with lovely mother soon..

    That's all Folks for today..

:D You tell I'm working very hard today....

Have now printed (not signed) letters and i & e's for creditors and they are now in envelopes with (free) stamps on courtesy of the RM surveys I do.. ready to post tomorrow....

Also bought a new divider file for the fresh dmp start ready to collect mountains more paperwork...

Also done meter readings, I am now £364 in credit and they tried to reduce monthly dd to £32.. umm no... Its still cold for a few months yet and so I reset it back.. Will claim any spare once the sun appears again...!!!

Fit and Fabulous day 1 was great... day 2.. less great and day 3.. ummmm.... but have been on the treadmill each day and will try again this evening...

Also got my February social on Saturday night.. diet pizza for me.......

    Off to check for offers..

Hi Brogs, My PRAT debt was BC and previously an egg card so quite elderly I imagine... unfortunately not a big debt but if I don't need to pay it yet I can focus on some of the others whilst they dither around.. of course they could find the paperwork tomorrow in which case as a good puzz I will continue as previous.

Mrs B has a cob on at me for doing this CCA stuff. I do understand what she is saying but I have informed her that I will not be walking away from any of these BUT if anything is wrong or I can show I am being lied to I will screw them to the floor with my final payment to them :D !!

She received a letter from the PRAT today on her last remaining debt seemingly giving some of the info but not all.....?

The letter says 'we enclose documentation received to date and are awaiting further documentation to complete your request.' The debt is originally from MBNA. I don't know what is now supposed to be coming :o !!

I have referred some of the stuff on the DFW forum but no point in asking any questions on this until I get what is coming.....whatever it is that is coming :rotfl:!!

Oh the joys! My hope is nothing further will come and if so I will refer to the ineptness in my P&F offer. As mentioned I am not walking away from it but if it helps save a little money......

    I never realised a cat could self-manage.......ours can't :D !!

  • Hi Puzz,

Just had a quick catch up on your diary. Well done on going Self Managed, we have always self managed and has worked well for us so far ! Not sure if you are setting direct debits up with your Predators, or just paying them monthly directly from your account to theirs. I have never paid them by DD, someone one upon a time, way back when warned me not to. Just some food for thought for you. I just pay them the required amount each month via a bank transfer.

Well done with the CCA request, I love PRAT !! They are my favourite people to play games with :rotfl:.

I am thinking it is very very unlikely that they will find all the documentation that they require, so sit back , put the kettle on and relax ! Brogden, you seem to be going down the same route with the CCA request, so good luck to you as well. I still need to catch up on your diary. :o

Really pleased that things seem to be coming together for you xx

That's interesting, PinotGrigio (my favourite wine by the way:j).

What's the reason for it though please? Do you adjust your payments from month to month?

    Hello all...
I am doing standing orders as I believe they can only be amended by me, rather than direct debits where the amount to pay is set by the other end.....please tell me if I am incorrect in my thinking?!?

    Dead right Puzz.

With the DD somebody is 'taking' from you.

With a Standing Order you are volunarily 'giving' to somebody and the control is totally in your paws ;)

    Happy Friday Morning..

I have on quick question for my lovely mse'ers who are self managing...

When sending your i & e to your creditors did it include the complete list of you debts, as in how much you owe, who to, and all the offers of token payments.. basically meaning all your creditors know what you owe to who and how much your paying..????

The reason I have yet to post my letters is I am unsure whether they should have all this info????

Having spoken to PRAT yesterday they asked did I have other creditors so presumably didn't have all this info from SC.. And I don't want them to start arguing now about who gets what....

    Please someone help....!!!!!!!
