Not much to report today..

dd's last mock exam, thankfully....!! Bless her she hates mocks, normally does awful but then seems to be fine in the real things which is what counts as far as I am concerned...

One Poll on £38.55... £1.45 till payout...

Received another £4 Love2shop vouchers to pay for a parcel I need to send next week, so that's in the Christmas voucher pot..

Managed to save the extra £30 for over payment to lovely mother loan.. can't wait for this to be gone.. If only I had known about dmp's before borrowing it to pay off some of my ghastly debt which of course didn't really help just gave me something else to pay out for... never mind... Will hopefully be gone before the end of the year...

Did receive an invite out for dinner on Saturday but have declined due to cost.... dd's also having her hair done on Sunday that will be £50.. but it has been sitting in savings since goodness knows when as she hasn't had it cut since last August..:eek:

Payday Monday..:j Still got £55 ish in the bank and its another lovely month without c.tax or water bill...

OH's 50th next month... he doesn't want anything.. :T Obviously I will buy him something just not sure what yet...... Have got some pennies in the birthday pot so that will more than cover it.. especially if its pants and socks...:rotfl:

dd has a trip to London tomorrow and says she is travelling alone..:eek: bless she is 17.. My anxiety is not my best friend right now..... Roll on tomorrow evening...

Right off to do some work, I have managed to complete 50% of the months visits in the last 3 days... just 10% to go, tomorrow and Monday.... and an afternoon in the office for me today...:(

So in the end dd has traveled up with a small group from school and hopefully will also travel back with them, but I am persuading myself not to worry..... she says.... worrying... still I will know soon as they are due to leave the conference shortly...

Finally received letters from RBS and Natwest accepting my dmp.. but they omitted to give me payment details... more silly people.. after a 15 minute hold on the phone I now have them and have set them up.. So 8 creditors hopefully will get paid on the 3rd....fingers crossed.. No word from Lowells yet....

Nothing else exciting to report, works manic I'm sure the world is having a loony moment.. full moon maybe? So best get on...

So car is broken..:eek: Friend popped over this morning and had a look and has put me in contact with his mechanic who is coming to take it away on monday... no car...:eek: Oh well dd and I will be off using Public Transport for a few days.. fingers crossed its fixable and doesn't blow my car budget completely....

Lovely mother has already said not to pay the loan this month but I really, really want to get rid of it so will just have to wait and see what the end result is.....

No other news.. not been anywhere...

Oh did get another £3 L2Shop vouchers from RM.. so now up to £37...

Really tired today so planning an easy dinner of egg & chips and a bit of tv then off to zzzzzz....

Up in the morning to go to the hairdressers with dd...

So Monday again...

Car was picked up this morning.. think its something to do with the ignition barrel? Waiting for a call from the mechanic to let me know.. cost/how long.... Have a car I can borrow if its going to be awhile but would rather have my old baby back, I hate not being able to just jump in it and go..

Yesterday we got a cab to and from the hairdressers for dd. It was freezing and Pubic transport is a bit *hit at the weekends.... dd's hair looks lovely so she was very happy.. Hair + cabs = £66.. :eek: Luckily she doesn't have it done very often.. Not so happy this morning at having to leave home to walk to school at the time she normally gets up...:rotfl:

Working from home today and will be out on the bus tomorrow....

And I got cross with NW this morning.. Had an email from them to remind me to pay my loan payment in 3 days time and then a text on my home phone.. I rang them and said I was cross and felt hounded... she did say do I want to escalate it to a complaint.. beginning to think they know me quite well. :rotfl: But I said no, just sort it so you don't do it next month...

Right best get on with some work...

So the good news is I should have the car back either tomorrow pm or Wednesday... The bad news... £350 + vat......:eek:

Now I have to decide which pot to use.. I hate spending my savings.... I have enough in the car fund but then it will be empty and the mot is due in June and you just know its going to need work.... I had saved £100 extra for lovely mother loan and she has said not to pay this month's £200 so could use that which comes to £300... Also have an extra £200 from C.tax/water this month but I had this earmarked to be split across some of the other savings pots.. oh decisions.. On the :j at least I have got the pennies to move around... Maybe I will decide tomorrow when I get the accurate bill and hopefully a discount for cash....:D

Works system also down so can't do that either...:rotfl:

I was out on the bus this morning.. and got soaked in the rain... I am definitely not a public transport person, although the bus journey was quite pleasant..!!

I am now poor.. but the garage took £350 for cash so I am £70 better off than I would have been.. I will try and mess around with my pots and pay lovely mother £100 this month so at least its still going down and I will then owe her £2000..= 10 months....

No other money news... One poll up to £39.35.....

Hello Puzz,
Glad to see you have you car back- I'm not a public transport person either but we don't have any choice where I live! I think there is one bus morning and evening, weekdays, but it's a mile walk to the bus stop! plus it takes an hour and a half to get to town, via the scenic route through every other village in the county. When I'm old and retired I might save heating bills by riding the bus all day :rotfl:

:j First payment from the Puzz dmp went out this morning to creditors.. apart from 2, one who is on hold (PRA) and 1 who has been passed to new dca and haven't heard from them yet..

So as of today hopefully if the money has gone to the right places.. I am now at 26.6% paid off..

First debt to drop under 2k...:j This is the one I want to target unless the annoying creditors don't get on with defaulting me... PRA have according to noddle although its still showing dm as a monthly marker so not sure how that works as all my other defaults say d (defaulted) on the monthly.. ho hum...

Still haven't done anything about paying lovely mother, she says not to bother this month and not to worry about it... also dd has now come up with 2 plans for short break holidays with friends in the summer so looks like I best start saving for those as well.. I guess what I am saving for her 18th can go into it...

Right best get on with some work....

Reached payout on one poll so £40 will be with me eventually...!! Now have to start all over again from 0p....

Another £5 L2Shop voucher from RM so now up to £42 for Christmas 2016..

dd off with her friend to the travel agents after school to look at short breaks.......:eek: More ££££££'s to find....

Still haven't allocated my 'spare' money from payday, I should really sort this out today or it will get spent on tosh....

Also need to sort OH's b.day this weekend and Mothers day of course.. well I have booked some tickets to an event in London for us in May so that will be her gift, I have bought a card so just need to arrange delivery...

Have my best friend over tomorrow evening for a nachos and wine night...otherwise just normal domestic goddess duties and shopping to be done...

Right off to play bank accounts..
