It is official.. I have now finished for Christmas.. :j
Money news..
So last spendy day today... Sainsbugs delivery this morning to the tune of £108... The only extra was 2 tubs of pringles and wine.....otherwise it was a normal shop...... dd out today with her friend for Nando's and Christmas shopping so will need to give her some cash... funds running low now.....
Have added up my Christmas spends...:eek::eek:
£670 Cash..... £102 Vouchers......:D:D:D Total £772....
So £40 more than last year and I had saved £600 so only a £70 overspend out of my own money as such.....
Payday today.. horribly early so have transferred it to sit in my E.F account until next Tuesday when we would normally be paid...
I have also added up my savings so I can have a total for end of 2015.. will do a new post for that... makes a change to do one for savings instead of debt...!!!
Still have £60 ish in the bank but doubt there will be any left to play with at month end...
Right off to encourage dd to start moving.. she is a right slug this holidays...! well every holidays actually....

:snow_laug:santa2::snow_grin:rudolf:
So Savings... I have included what I will pay in next week to make a grand 2015 Total on savings currently in my various accounts..
£436 BF Account.. .(only half of this is actually mine..)
£232 Clothes
£60 RAC due in June
£260 Car (Tax and Mot due in June, Car insurance done monthly)
£175 Birthdays
£103 Uni... (Not for anything specific - open days etc)
£50 Christmas 2016
£140 dd's 21st NY fund
£200 E.Fund
£241 Mum Trip (Nothing planned yet maybe end of 2016)
£11 dd's 18th (Hotel and Theatre.. not till July)
£220 Pot of Gold.. (All mine for when I finish my dmp...)
£420 Building Society Account for laptop for dd...
So most of these I have a set amount I put in monthly and then the rest get shares of what is left over each week and from saving 20p's and 50p's..
Total Over £2500...:T Although half the BF savings isn't mine...
Obviously they all have a purpose and will get spent at some point but nice to go into 2016 with proper savings..
Also I have £109 on my Nectar - saving for buying stuff when dd goes off to uni.. and am up to £28.80 on one poll.. must do better on surveys in 2016...
Right off again...

So done and dusted for another year... well almost.. tonight its Panto night...:j Then one more day off before back to work..
Puzz did well as usual on the presents front.. dd organised OH and got me everything off my list, I also got £200 cash and £115 gift cards.....:D
i did visit Town yesterday and picked up some Christmas Cards in the sale as is my tradition.. I also bought a pair of boot I had seen which were now half price and used some of my gift card for that..
Some of the cash unfortunately will just get used in everyday living but that's fine as I don't really need anything.. its all just want, want, want...
Tomorrow will pay myself and do my sig totals etc and my plans for 2016...
No socials planned for January, and I don't do NYE so that's an easy one...! Hoping for a healthy low cost month.. that's the plan anyway...!!!
Have a Happy Bank Holiday Monday...

It's great isn't it, watching the debt totals going down and the percentage paid going up?:j
I've been having an almost year-end totting up of where I stand and although there's a heck of a lot still to be paid and a long, long way to go before it is:eek: I always feel really optimistic once I start the next year's calendar and diary:j
Have my new 2016 Spending Diary all ready to go:j. It doesn't take much to get me excited does it, I must get out more:rotfl:. I'm really going to trim all spending to the bone this year mainly in the grocery budget. I said that last year too;) and I managed it in lots of ways but my normally meticulous (aka OCD:o) record-keeping went to pot at the end of August and I haven't a true record of what went where during a full year:mad:. I do a lot online but am still a pen and paper/notebook type of 'girl' for this sort of thing. It's only an old exercise book discovered when de-cluttering and brought into service but what else do I need? There are plenty of pages to go at and my days of loitering around swish stationery displays and splashing loads on every conceivable type of notebook that I never had a use for are well and truly over;).
Sold loads of lovely journals and notebooks on eBay about 3 years ago. Haven't missed them at all, didn't even remember I had them until I discovered a huge stash when desperately trying to find something I could sell in the scary pre-DMP days:o. Made a bit of cash to keep the wolves from the door for a short time (although nothing like as much as I must have wasted on buying them in the first place) and learned a valuable lesson in the process;).0 -
A rather belated happy New Year from Puzz...
So...
NYE... Lovely evening, watched rubbish on TV and was in bed by 10pm.. slept soundly..(OH on nights..) and didn't wake at all during the night very unusual.. didn't even hear the London Fireworks that usually wake me up....
NYD.. Lazy day.. washing and housework, lovely mother round for a cuppa
2nd Jan.. Spendy day.... Got online with dd.. ordered 2 pairs of shoes £84... a jumper... £40.... and underwear.. £32... She hasn't had any new clothes/items for ages and is very much in need...!!! We still have some money left in the clothes savings so I will encourage a little more buying later in the month..
Today.. Gosh it soggy...! Dishwasher ran out of salt and not working properly, cue Puzz rushing off to sainbobs this morning.. got salt.. still not working.. cue OH on floor generally making a mess.... Result.. one broken dishwasher. Oh well I only use it maximum 3 days a week so will be washing up by hand for awhile until we decide what to do...
New Year starts proper for me tomorrow with work/school etc.. and D day.. for diet...
Have decided rather than keep going for the stone, maybe as I am a little older now.. just a little mind that half a stone will probably do with lots of exercise to tone up some of my more wobbly bits.....
So plans..
Diet/Healthier eating..
Exercise at least 3 times a week... treadmill ready...
I managed to pay off £9842 in total to my dmp and lovely mother last year and would like to hit 10K this year...
Savings.. I will carry on with all my pots as I do now but would like to start a regular payment into my emergency fund as it is a bit tiny so would like to see this up to £500 by the end of the year..
I need to see more of lovely mother so will aim for lunch one week, dinner one week, and a cuppa/shop or something the other weeks..
I have no social plans for January but will be sorting very soon my first social with my girlfriends for February and then will sort one every other month...
Work.. Just keep going I guess.. :rotfl: Interview on the 19th January so will be working towards that this month..
Trips/Holidays.. NONE PLANNED.. BF hasn't really sorted any dates so may do something with her later in the year..
dd doesn't want to go away.. good job as I don't have the money for a sunshine holiday this year..!
Lovely mother.. well she fancied a week in Ireland.. I don't..... but may sort out something with her..
OH is away for 3 weeks March/April, then my sister is over for a couple of weeks April/May.. OH is away again for a week in May.. My nephew may be over for a few weeks in February and dd has various exams at various times up till June.. so who knows...!!!
So onward and upwards and :hello: to 2016....
