    :j Happy Hump Day....

So the weekend saw me doing a few hours overtime.. this will come in handy in March's Pay to cover my telephone bill as I'm off to USA to visit dd for 5 days.....:D:D:D

All booked and paid for.... hate spending savings...:rotfl:

OH will contribute our spending money so all good......

Monday I spent the afternoon with LM wandering the shops for some new clothes.. typically didn't find anything I like... will try again this weekend as I have another 3 day one....

Out with my girls this coming Friday, first social this year...oops......Hoping I get offered a lift but haven't firmed up arrangements yet..

Today I am off shortly to meet LF and his fiancee... step mommy... for a drink and then into the office to sort some paperwork etc...

    treadmill going well.. still fat...

That's about it.. still over a week till payday.....

    Have a good one...

  • Its typical isn't it?...when you want to buy clothes you can never see anything you like and if you don't have the money and not really looking, then all sorts of nice clothes leap of the racks with cries of "buy me".....:rotfl:

How lovely for you to spend some quality time with DD:beer:. Not so lovely about the weather though but it's turning very stormy back in UK at the moment so you aren't missing out on any balmy weather;)

Enjoy the rest of your holiday and have a safe journey home:)

    Afternoon...

I'm back... thank you for your lovely messages...

We had a very chilled time.. mainly because it was so chilly.. dd's much more used to it than me so we only did little trips out, generally using Uber.. they don't encourage walking where she is.. there's no pavements and when you can find one they were snow/ice covered...

Spent many pennies on hotel/bar/eating in/shopping etc.. but it was lovely to see her and a bit of mammoth journey home but I don't feel too bad today..

    The positive money news..

Received 2 letters just before I went away from Prat as I knew they had bought my old NW loan and overdraft debts.. I didn't read them properly. .I have now and it turns out the loan is Unenforceable...:T:T:T Well I'm not paying that and will let them know... The other I will set up a payment plan.. £5 a month like everyone else...!!

Has brought my debt total down into the 25k's.. and 57% gone....

Will have to do some money moving around to pay off the cc that I used abroad.. (it doesn't charge for use abroad...) but waiting for the hotel transaction to show...

Need to set up a few more saving pots....

Overtime from last month will pay for my extra mobile bill to cover the £6 a day...

OH's birthday today.. he got a card...:rotfl: He didn't seem that bothered.... I will pop into town over the next few days and buy something little...

So back to work Tuesday, lots of work to do so I expect to be busy for the rest of this month... ho hum keeps me out of trouble..

    Happy Hump Day...

So I changed back my dollars and with the cash bough OH a couple of edible gifts.. they always go down well... I have enough left to buy my brother something for sorting out my super flights.. vodka or wine I expect..

The credit card transaction for the hotel finally arrived.. I had rather hoped they had forgotten about me..:rotfl: So have paid off the cc as I don't like nasty interest...!!!!

New water bill in, only gone up less than £2 a month.. I was predicting £6.. just waiting for the council tax bill... guessing a rise of £6/£8... we shall see..

Have started 2 more saving pots in readiness for dd's return and new house for the last uni year...

Have paid the agents fee for the house they have gone for.. no news yet or demands for any other money but it will come i'm sure....

Haven't started walking again yet.. bad puzz.... I did manage 7 1/2 hours in February and will start soon....... maybe later...

Off out shortly, being picked up so saves on petrol..:money:

That's about it.. not a lot to report...

  • Welcome back to reality Puzz. So glad you enjoyed your trip. Like the idea of setting up more savings pots. I have so many attached to our account and always adding more, I think the bank must laugh when they see what I have named some of them....:rotfl:
I'm sure you will get back to the walking soon. I know I am having a lot of bad days lately. I must try harder as well.

    Its the weekend...:j:j:j

Shame they go so fast... :( But I have a quiet one planned, well as in a little visit to relatives and that's about it..!!

OH is away so star shape for me and the puzzcats...

I bought a gift for my brother for sorting my flights and have £25 left from my changed up dollars so have started a cash pot for a new passport as mine runs out next year and I'd rather renew it before my next trip... (Brexit?)

Other than that just washing and doing the usual cleaning jobs.. might sort some clothes out tomorrow as a charity bag has fallen through the letter box for collection on Monday... do like to clear clutter where I can.. unfortunately its dd and OH who have most of it...

Trying to sort dd's house for the next uni year.. luckily they only want a deposit rather than last time we had to pay a months rent about now too.. I already have enough to pay this and have scanned all the information they require for me to be guarantor so i'm ready to go when I get the nod...

LM is poorly again and bless her its all she can talk about.. unfortunately I do get a little agitated when she rings twice in 1 hour to tell me the same thing again.. I'm a bad daughter... ho hum.....

Otherwise all just ticking along at the minute..
