  • Doing well, so far I have:

Settled DS on sofa, drugged him up:p given him the remote, and checked on him regularly.:D

All stocked up medication wise for winter, had to put it through self service in 3 separate transactions, but got there in the end, ( I know why you can only buy so much but it is a hassle at times) anyway all done:D

Loft now decluttered of all winter woollies and hats, scarves and gloves:D

2 loads of woollies now blowing nicely on the line:D(rest to follow)

    Just having a :coffee:and then I plan on;

Cleaning the bathroom, why does it get so grubby so quickly:(

Hoover throughout the house, and plan what to do for tea.

    Continue with washing and drying.

    Phew! That's about it!

I am loving this thread, thanks to you all :T

    See you soon x

    Afternoon all,
My, you have all been busy today! Stuck at work this week so only flying has been for them!

Am hoping to maintain the daily flying as it will prove a help preparing for the move but today marks three weeks till moving day so finger needs to get out and get tasks done. They'll need to take priority over daily tasks (if you see what I mean!)

Monday Mayhem - Living Room and Hall
    15 minutes...
Vacuum through the living room and hall
    30 minutes to spare..
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Remove clutter

    Extra Missions for the week:
Organise bank account for rent to be paid to
    Organise PAT testing in flat
Meet with tenant to get lease signed
Get final info on deposit scheme (and pay into it if getting deposit during above)
Complete flat file for tenant (instruction books etc)
Contact utilities company to inform of move
Contact council tax to inform of move
    Arrange Royal Mail redirect
Draft letter to be sent to people who need to know (ie points cards etc)
Contact Sky to cancel their services
    Work through Toots moving list
That should be a start though may be amended/added to through the week as things develop. If I do get the week off work following the move I'll have to spend it sleeping, am cream crackered and we've not even moved yet :(

Hope everyone is well, hugs to those who need them

  • Back again! DS2 has been to the dentist which is quite an ordeal as he is terrified of them :( But he was very brave, only a few tears when he sat in the chair. We then had to go to the hospital for X-rays and the dentist has promised that she will print him a copy to take home when we attend the next appointment. He's still not enthused but that should sweeten the pill a bit. The dentist was really lovely, spoke mainly to DS2 rather than me and has promised him she will explain everything she's doing and that nothing will hurt so he doesn't have to feel scared. Bless him, it's horrible to see them so anxious.

I need a hot shower and then to do dinner; DH's ex wife from hell has demanded DSS and DSD be returned, fed and showered, by 8 tonight so I have to have dinner ready for 6.30. No mean feat with 4 kids under my feet.

I could do with a snooze. Fat chance!
  • Hello!

Just a quick note to say thank you for your respective lists, Natty and Dusty and please count me in for this week.

Did quite a bit of dot-to-dotting over the weekend and am now heading home to start a 101 (or as near as I can get) challenge on the paperwork again.

BTW, before I forget, one of my non-flat based Toots List items is to sew up my crochetted squares. The original intention was to make a bedspread for myself, but bearing in mind my Me Challenge, thought I might make one (or possibly more, I've got lots of squares!) and sell it/them. Now, I can remember that single bed sizes used to start at 2'6" - do they still? Thanks for any help.

Hope to post later in the week.

    Rebecca

    Rebecca

A 2'6" is a small single, the average single mattress is 3'
    HTH :)
