Seriously it is insane.. her other friend is 16, 22 weeks pregnant and being told to prepare to lose the baby as her waters have broken due to an infection... it is all so unfair and crappy.. Glad I don't really know anyone

Kazw congratulations on the promotion

WM on & washing hung on indoor line
BM on - will wake up to fresh bread tomorrow morning, the trick will be not to demolish it before work tomorrow :p :rotfl:

I'm umming about moving back up north where I used to live. I moved back to where I grew up when OH died. When i see my 'home' town on TV my heart actually aches, pathetic eh? I don't have any friends down here (have been back for 3 years) I've done evening classes (about to start one on Weds) but not developed friendships. I have 3 very good friends up there.

But I know my life wouldn't be the same as before I met OH and I'm not sure if that's why my heart aches when I see my home town as I want the life I had in 2006/07 or whether it is homesickness.

Sorry I think I just needed to get my thoughts out of my head.

ETA - Piggers that's awful - Bossy summed it up in her post. Will keep Poppy and her Dad in my thoughts x

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Sorry folks, I've not caught up properly with the thread. I was multi-tasking and putting a Mr A order through then rang my mum to check the deal with my nannas christmas cake recipe (First one I've ever made, I only moved out in 2000 :o) so everything has gone out my head now :o

So hugs, good luck, congrats, sticks and Karma vibes to all ;)

Not much achieved today. My bath seemed to take forever to run, by the time I'd done that, made my bed and painted my nails it was time for the dentists! That really shouldn't have taken me 5 hours but it did :o Not much achieved since I got in either as I'm not feeling very good again. My face is aching thanks to needing a filling in my wisdom tooth and the dentist pulling at my face for a good 30min trying to do that and another filling :( Then she said "right, you need to come back *pause to look at the computer* in 6 months for a check up" :j:j I could have kissed her had my mouth not been numb and sore :rotfl:

So I climbed on the sofa and had a snooze while I waited for DD to get home (anaesthetic made me sleepy again), made tea, sorted some work stuff out and did a Mr A shop to be delivered tomorrow between 8-10am. I am so much more selective shopping online than if I was going into the store. My weekly budget is £40 and I've spent £45ish which is including ingredients for the cake :D If I'd gone to the store I'd have probably spent £50+ and had to go back again.

Tomorrow is paid stuff all day, Right now I'm going to have a mug of hot chocolate to warm up and going to bed. Catch you all tomorrow
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
