Valli - I grew up with a father who sounds very much like that. It did me no harm and just made me appreciate my amazing mother all the more. I'm sure your DS will be the same.


Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
15 minutes...
[STRIKE]Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs[/STRIKE]

30 minutes to spare..
[STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there..
and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure![/STRIKE]

Got an hour..
Wipe and water plants
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
[STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself[/STRIKE]

Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –

• Have a bit of a tidy in the cupboard under the stairs.
• [STRIKE]Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.[/STRIKE]
• Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
• Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it.. Do you need your winter curtains up yet?

bossy im upping my 15 mins a weekday exercise to 30 mins please.
knitted a snail today and did 30 mins on the wii today, but not done a lot else to be honest, so will do more tomorrow

Cat fed and Im decluttering a cup of tea. Not the cat Ionafan
That made me laugh the image of the cat having a cuppa.

Living room got the 30 mins list done.

At work all day today so will look at kitchen list later.
Will have a quick whizz round before I go.

The bloomin cat comes to life from 6 in the morning. Only had him a short while but love him to bits. Glad I got another.

So starting off the day with a cup of coffee:coffee: and catching up on yesterday's posts.

Got all jobs done as planned yesterday so here is today's list.

S and s bathroom before work.
Clean out medicine drawer and make a list of any cold remedies we might need.
Check laundry situation.

Although I tend to keep my online identity to myself and not give too much away I would like to say woop woop to all my fellow Plymothians this morning :hello:

Tuesday Trauma - Kitchen and Dining Room
15 minutes...
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
30 minutes to spare..
Sweep and mop floors
Clean the fridge.. get rid of all those furry things growing in corners!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Got an hour to spare...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, microwave etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Clean out your mankiest kitchen cupboard..
Extra Mission : help yourself

Run the WM through 'clean cycle'.. hottish wash with a splosh of vinegar, soda crystals bleach.. whatever you fancy just clear those pipes of gunge!
]Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
31 fling boogie..
Wipe over the oven and hob - you know you want to ...
Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET

Morning all

All is calm here now. Did have to shout at the bus boys to get a move on.

Going to hoover and mop upstairs then have my shower. Dry here at the moment so I'll try to wash the towels and cut the back grass before the rain comes in.

Paid stuff today but I'm waiting on a Mr A delivery so I'm going to fly before I get comfy to do work I'll also be doing laundry as DD had PE yesterday and her kit walked home from school itself! I thought teenage boys were supposed to be the smelly icky ones?
