Emails sorted, money juggled, finances updated, bathroom cleaned, WMx2 and first lot in the TD which I'm using as a heat source as I'm freezing
Just noticed the time so I'm going to have lunch and then put in a few solid hours of paid stuff this afternoon. DD is out at singing club this evening after school so I get an extra hour or so. Think I'll make a batch of chilli for tea while I make my lunch and it can bubble away in the slowcooker until we're ready to eat
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Work is taking over again today
I forgot to update re: baby surname....OH promised me at the weekend that we'll get married in around 3yrs time when we've bought our first house. He says that will be enough of a commitment and show we're going to last for him to make the final leap. He has just come into an inheritance so was going to buy bits for the current house, told him we'll buy them together and he can use the money towards a ringfor once he didn't wince or flinch hurray! So baby will have his surname as I do truly believe he will marry me

That's lovely news Kerri, not least because it's a weight off your mind
I have achieved sweet all today apart from some very mild pottering and the bare daily essentials. I have no excuse apart from I am a bit tired, a bit cold and a lot notinthemood. I'm cleaning for others for the next three days so I feel I deserve a 'day off'; flawed logic as I will only have to play catch up AFTER scrubbing everyone else's muck but hey ho.
I am cwtched on the sofa with toast, coffee and my knitting0 -
Off to a very slow start today, had a trip yesterday and fortunately managed to avoid bump but have done something to my knee so it's all bruised and swollen - feeling very sorry for myself today. As a consequence there's not much done on my list, but trying to get the odd bit done so I can stay on top of things at least. Anything gone is done.
On the plus side, I made chocolate chip cookies last night and they're lush!
