A houseful this morning - the tiler, the carpenter and the father-and-son plumbers joined us for a cuppa before 8.00. The tiler has already finished and gone; the others are busy fixing skirting boards, doors, radiators, towel rails, etc.

I shall be glad to be able to put the heating on - it's very chilly here today. Mind you, the tradesmen keep leaving the front door open!

Didn't manage as much as I would have liked yesterday as I got stuck on a work conference call for hours :( Didn't finish until I was driving down the M32 to collect OH from work so we could go to hypnobirthing.
Having some technical issues today as well, have had to install Chrome on my Linux system as Firefox was crashing everytime I tried to load a page :( Not sure what it's problem is but have had to uninstall it. Maybe they updated it and have now broken it booo. Need to work out how to use c+p with colour in chrome as that's not working properly either and is annoying me.

OH has done a few of today's tasks already for me :D

  • Morning all - a bit of a slow start here today, but I was awake for 3 hours last night with heartburn, so I allowed myself a bit of a lie in!

Lynsayjane - I think we have a massive Toots list then! We've been working through it over the past few months, but there's still loads to do!

Ionafan - I'll be taking it easy, I promise! I'm working through my list really slowly.

My list is currently looking like this:
    • Go through larder and meal plan what can be used up - also use up all freezer food before vinyl fitter comes
    • [STRIKE]Wash maternity pillow and baby slings[/STRIKE] - put away
    • Research home insurance for new house
    • [STRIKE]Book in vinyl floor fitting man for next week[/STRIKE]
    • Spend half an hour packing up the "posh" tea set.
    • Sort out money and spends for the past few days.
    • Buy "essential" things for my hospital bag
    • Research Landlord's insurance for flat
    • [STRIKE]Speak to developers and solicitors - hope to fix completion date on the house[/STRIKE]
    • Go through flat, make a list of all areas which need to be painted, start painting them.
    • [STRIKE]Transfer birth preferences plan from notebook to maternity notes[/STRIKE]
